[MOC] The market in slum area

I’m honored to work with PLAN INTERNATIONAL and glad that was invited by LCP-Andy Hung to build the living condition in slum area. Here is my model of the market in slum. Villagers are using the way to carry the stuff by head. Due to the traffic is underdeveloped, they take a long time to carry the stuff by head and walk from market to home. It’s a big difference between Hong Kong and slum area.

On a cultural note, isn't it interesting that we find ways to personalize even the most mundane things?

The aim of the project that we have to come up with the message is how wretched status of living condition in slum area compare with Hong Kong by the request of third party.The purpose to show how lucky we are because we are living in prosperous city/country, we have to treasure what we have.
So, it's definitely not an interesting thing of the way they are using the head to carry the stuff and take a long time to carry and walk from market to home. 
In fact, it's a really meaningful exhibition doing in Hong Kong to presenting the message and to treasure what we have.

I can see how some people can take that from the MOC. I'm more interested in the head baskets.
