K-2SO Figure Concept

I was thinking about the K-2SO figure and I thought that the figure would look much better if it used a regular figure body. So I decided that I should draw a picture of what it could have looked like. (I'm not the best artist by the way). So this is what I created: http://m.imgur.com/gallery/HGqb8sq

I agree, I'm not a big fan of the way K-2SO and battle droids are made as minifigs. I think a regular kind of minifig body with perhaps longer arms and legs could work, kinda like the wither skeletons vs. regular skeletons in the Minecraft sets, and then perhaps some solution with the head to get it more forward positioned.

Your drawing could work well combined with a regular minifig body with the above mentioned longer arms and legs.

Yeah, I hope they do a different design when they redo the Rogue One sets in a few years.

i recommend the black C-3po body with arms with Imperial insignia (If there are any).

Not really making this a custom just an idea of what Lego could do. The Death Star droid and the tie pilot from the UCS tie fighter could make the body, but can't do anything about the head.

I would think a custom mold.

I think the current design would be perfect if the legs could move, maybe similar to the most recent Grievous legs.

Don't really like the arms either. They're a little too small.

Yeah I guess they could be lankier, arguably doable with a black piece like this (original arms would be loosely attached to clips):
