Jurss Posted April 27, 2017 Posted April 27, 2017 This is really good. Also recognizable, shapes are very close to original. Quote
Seasider Posted April 27, 2017 Posted April 27, 2017 Great little model is blue the only colour we can make this in ? Quote
technic_addict Posted April 27, 2017 Posted April 27, 2017 For such a small scale you have really captured the essence of the car. Amazing job! Quote
JamesJT Posted April 27, 2017 Author Posted April 27, 2017 Thank you all for you comments. 7 hours ago, Seasider said: is blue the only colour we can make this in ? For now blue is the only colour but when 42070 comes out a black version will be possible. I may even switch to black as all the panels (except 42056 wheel arches) will then be available. I would like to see my corvette and stratos built in black. Quote

Actually they look like a secret agent feature from the italian Q or until this post it looked like this (wheel spikes not the car) (The car is very nice) Edited April 28, 2017 by I_Igor Quote
astyanax Posted May 24, 2021 Posted May 24, 2021 Bump! With the new Lime parts, I just had to build it... Here and there I've modded the bodywork as I saw fit -- to accommodate the color swap as well as improving the usage of system pieces. And of course some black tape to create the famous panda eyes. I've modded the chassis quite a bit too, to accommodate a 2nd PF L motor as well as gearing them up 1:3. See below how fast it is with a BuWizz 2.0! As usual I first built a virtual model, which can be found here: https://bricksafe.com/pages/astyanax/miura. (Be warned that the internal part usage is a bit idiosyncratic, reflecting the parts I had available for building at the moment.) Quote
