Piranha Posted January 29, 2008 Posted January 29, 2008 (edited) I don't get why so many people don't understand that news of the Advent Calender broke on EB and not classic-castle 8-| Yeah...Um... Horrible accident 8-| Anyway its all very easy to settle this matter Just like with those green creatures whom TLC refers to as "Troll Warriors" we did a Troll Debate Now it is time for........ Piranha Presents: "The Great Troll Jester Debate!" Vote which name should be given to that comical jester in the castle advent calender! Chester? Jordan? Mr. Jester? Jester Jimmy? Even Harlan!!?! :-P :-D P Edited January 29, 2008 by Piranha Quote
Piranha Posted January 29, 2008 Posted January 29, 2008 (edited) Hey you up there! :-P You serious? If I was, the poll would have been started already X-D :-P P Edited January 29, 2008 by Piranha Quote
illspace Posted January 29, 2008 Posted January 29, 2008 Put me down for Chester, except the phrase chester the molester always comes to mind... Quote
Hinckley Posted January 29, 2008 Posted January 29, 2008 Be being completely biased in saying Chester!! I thought English was your native language... 8-| Quote
xwingyoda Posted January 29, 2008 Posted January 29, 2008 Why do we need to have a name for a jester ?? Who bloody cares ?? I just hate Lego giving names to their MFs because it forbids little kids to imagine their own adventures and what have you !! We never had TLC focusing here on the names of the pirates and other characters and I'm really thankfull for that. Bottom line jesters are "legal slaves" if you which and they only existed by their fonction and not their person, so giving him a name is wrong and has no sens. *yoda* Quote

We should all feel ashamed for having a fun discussion. Should we lock this or delete it completely so the Jester people don't find us out?... :-P Quote
Shadows Posted January 29, 2008 Posted January 29, 2008 Staudie comes from a long line of Jesters. Hey, I'm just sayin' ... X-D Oh crap, I haven't done the interview for this week. Looks like the joke's on me. 8- Quote

X-D Batbrick Something! *wacko* Quote
AmperZand Posted January 29, 2008 Author Posted January 29, 2008 8-| I didn't realize Jester's rights was such a serious issue. Yes, it's part of the Jester Liberation Front led by their notorious boss Chester "The Jester" Yobrick. :-D Quote
blueandwhite Posted January 29, 2008 Posted January 29, 2008 Personally I like Yobrick, it ties in with old times and still maintains the Lego aspect of it. Great choice *y* Maybe if he were a rapper or hiphop artist. "Yo Brick" sounds a little modern to me :-D . Quote
xwingyoda Posted January 29, 2008 Posted January 29, 2008 Yobrick ?? Are you guys nuts ? Damn I didn't realised that the Middle Ages ressembled...that :-| *yoda* Quote

Starwars4J Posted January 29, 2008 Posted January 29, 2008 The only two characters that were ever named back in "the good old days" were Majesto and Timmy :-D I liked it better that way, now-a-days we always seem to need a name for the figs, look at the disaster that resulted in with KK2 :-| I for one am glad they moved so far away from that unimaginative crap. Hell, we don't even have an official name for the new castle line :-D I like that. And yes, I realize BL has a name for them, but that's far from official Quote
Shadows Posted January 29, 2008 Posted January 29, 2008 The only two characters that were ever named back in "the good old days" were Majesto and Timmy :-D He remembers Timmy and forgets Captain Redbeard, Governor Broadside, Admiral Woodhouse, and King Kahuka??? ... is it too late to take back his interview??? >:-( :-P Quote

AmperZand Posted January 29, 2008 Author Posted January 29, 2008 yeah...yobrick reminds me of yo baby, the yogurt for babies. :-P The "o" in Yobrick is like the one in "pop", not the one in "pope". Same for Yorick (see the first post in this thread). ;-) Quote
bsmith13 Posted January 29, 2008 Posted January 29, 2008 Of the names suggested so far, I prefer Yobrick. However, I have a few more for your consideration: Hi Jinken (My son's idea) Verence (From Pratchett's Discworld) Giacomo Launce or Dogberry (all from Shakespeare) Quote
xwingyoda Posted January 29, 2008 Posted January 29, 2008 If I had to give one name I would nominate Iago !! Its simple and have quite a nice and funny pronunciation ;-) (funnier than Othello's character for sure) X-D *yoda* Quote
Johnny 5 Posted January 29, 2008 Posted January 29, 2008 (edited) I think I like Yobrick it gives an oldtime feel to him. Edited January 29, 2008 by Johnny 5 Quote
