bataleon Posted April 9, 2017 Posted April 9, 2017 Hi all, As the title states, is there a way to copy elements from one LDD file to another? Hypothetically speaking, if I'm working on a head in one LXF and a body in another LXF is there a way to join the two together? Cheers :) Quote
JopieK Posted April 9, 2017 Posted April 9, 2017 Or make a "Template" from the bricks you want to share across multiple projects. Quote
Calabar Posted April 9, 2017 Posted April 9, 2017 I think that open a file copy the desired bricks close the file and open the new file paste the bricks should work too. I'm quite sure I use this method with the previous versions of LDD not much time ago. Quote

Calabar Posted April 10, 2017 Posted April 10, 2017 Correct, I just wanted to point up that open the new file causes the closure of the previously opened file (LDD don't manage two files simultaneously), but I didn't remember the exact procedure (not sure, I placed them as a single point! ) Quote
bataleon Posted April 12, 2017 Author Posted April 12, 2017 Thanks everyone, that's most helpful of you all. It'll save me a lot of time now that I don't have to recreate all the parts! Quote
