Courscant. The Planet that never sleeps, to say it was a work of beauty would have been an understatement. One of the star destroyers had been passing over the area so Tariq j had managed to pull a few strings and requested a day or two just to sightsee his old home.

Tariq had grown up in one of the underworlds of Courscant, in close promixity to the Old Jedi Temple, as expected nothing much had changed since the last time he had seen it, the old diner and block of flats still stood gazing over the streets.

He had managed to pay the diner owner a few credits to stay the night and as He gazed out onto the balcony, he wondered how it had changed over the years, the Emperor's residence and strong hold over the planet made it a safe but hostile place to live. In one sense, he missed the bumbling atmosphere, the Clone's flyover during battles.

Thank you!

Legend has it Batman prowls the streets of Courscant looking for Diners he can play his guitar in. Today must have been his lucky day.

To echo Kodan Black you did a great job creating a claustrophobic environment. The sign in aurabesh is fantastic as well as all the detailing between the two buildings! I love the mini diorama at the beginning! :classic:

My only qualm is the lack of roofs on the other two building.

I like the height and cramped sense you gave. Good to see Batman keeping Coruscant safe!

Haha, Thanks, I was going for a cramped "underworld" feel (kinda like what we saw in a lot of Clone Wars episodes.

Thank you! The sign was fun to build, and I guess all those extra studs from the stud blaster came useful after all! Glad you liked the first little build.

Roofs came down to timing unfortunately.

There are elements in here that look like good representations of Coruscant, but when I'm looking at them, I have to crop out the unfinished sections of your moc, or your wall, or batman, or even rotate the entire picture so it's oriented correctly. Since we're not there with you to look at what you've built, you need to carefully consider the framing of your shots and what you want us to see. It's fine to have roofs unfinished, but don't stick your best greebling next to them. Also, building facades is fine, but don't use big open windows so we can see that there is neither a floor or finished interior wall. So really, you have to plan your shots from the very beginning and fill in the lens that we're using to view your build. You kind of did this with the shot with batman (wrong forum), as it shows a nice alley with a colorful sign, but you didn't shoot the entire height of the build, so we missed out on the other features of your buildings.

I hope this helps and is not overly critical. There really are some great features, like the top section of the taller building and the red and yellow signs.
