Great builds, the Y-wing is basically flawless, a lot nicer than the new official set, and the A-wing is nice too, especially the solution for the gap on the nose, but the back of the engines look nicer on the official set, so that's only 9.5/10 to me. :P

Hi Darth,

I think I've said this before but I'll say it again; I really like your building style. It's the perfect blend of smooth, complicated techniques and the style of TLG's sets. Your Y-Wing is excellent proof of that. You take elements from sets (why fix what isn't broken) and integrate them in a very clever way. Your Y-Wing really makes me want to try and build one too. ;)

The A-Wing is a great model too. I have experimented with brick built engines similar to yours myself and I must say that your technique is simpler and in a way much more effective than what I had come up with. Great work on that, as usual. ;)

Secondly: The U-wing, it seems, will start to haunt my dreams.

This seems to be the case with everyone trying to build a U-Wing.. Yours is already a great model but I can only say that the larger you build them the harder it gets to make those wings functional. I have tried and more or less given up on building a more or less minifig-scale U-Wing and I wish you the best of luck for when you decide to start building a larger one. :D

Love the y wing. Everything about it jut screams perfection! Also like how you built the landing gear into the engines and how you achieved the circular caps for the engines.

And the A-wing is easily the best I've seen!
