Sir Stig Posted February 28, 2017 Posted February 28, 2017 The Mardier Death Squad chose their victims carefully. Defenseless and unarmed preferably. This time they had kidnapped the daughter of a Terraversan diplomat, taunted her, and killed her. Now they had found a spot behind a small abandoned warehouse. What depths would Mardier go to cover their deplorable acts? Since Mardier have no clue about what are acceptable behavior, they probably did not dig for long.. Spoiler Sorry about the deplorable quality of pictures and short story. I've been totally immersed in another big project. Bonus shot of the roof (the colors did not match, so I hid it here). This is an entry for Eslandola, depicting the wicked ways of Mardier "tactics". Quote
LegoEomer Posted March 1, 2017 Posted March 1, 2017 Great job on the house and foliage. I'm not sure about the partial nudity though... Quote
Bregir Posted March 2, 2017 Posted March 2, 2017 I like the use of masonry bricks and plates to create texture around those wallpieces. It is surprisingly effective. The little warehouse in general is very nice, including the roof. Quite grim subject matter with the grave though! Big drama! Quote
SilentWolf Posted March 2, 2017 Posted March 2, 2017 That is a great roof technique especially with the way you did the ends of the building. Also nice usage of the big wall plates. Those death guard are brutal though. Quote
Captain Dee Posted March 18, 2017 Posted March 18, 2017 Well that's definitely brutal... And unique among the contest entries. Looking past the grim subject matter, the overall build is pretty good. The structure has a nice classic look to it and the roof is good. But it seems such a shallow grave would attract dogs which could be messy... At any rate, I doubt if all Mardierians fit this depiction - I mean, they're a sizeable empire, no? Creative entry overall. Quote
