q_159 Posted February 27, 2017 Posted February 27, 2017 (edited) Hi, I'm proud to present you my newest MOC: The Willis Tower (formerly known as "Sears Tower") Facts: Scale: 1:410 Height: 132 cm (52″) Bricks: 16.000 (from which 10.500 are clear 1x1 plates) Planning time: 3 months Building time: 1 month Full tower The base was very challenging. It is not plain but has slopes in different directions, which leads to many complicated levels. There is a lot of SNOT and offset work going on to represent it at this scale Everything was planned in MLCad before I began building More pictures and WIP photos can be seen at my Flickr photostream. - Sebastian Edited February 27, 2017 by q_159 Quote
Lamborghini Waffle Sauce Posted February 28, 2017 Posted February 28, 2017 Very impressive! And about the base, not many people have attempted it because of the 'slope' reasons, but you absolutely nailed it! Love the little details like the globe, the trees and the SkyDeck! Quote
Mesabi Posted March 1, 2017 Posted March 1, 2017 Wow, that is huge! Very nice build, the little detailing is nice, especially the little globe and what I assume is a green house. Quote
