SlyOwl Posted January 21, 2008 Posted January 21, 2008 Can anybody help me please? I'm trying to connect each of the five corners of a pentagon to the centre using Technic, but resulting in an axle hole in the centre. - Is there a piece I could use to do this? Like so. I'll be using it in a MOC of mine, coming soon (hopefully). *y* SlyOwl Quote
Shine Posted January 21, 2008 Posted January 21, 2008 Mmm, five is a hard number for TECHNIC. Does the center connection need to be symmetrical, and how small does it need to be? Quote
SlyOwl Posted January 21, 2008 Author Posted January 21, 2008 It just needs to have an axle hole in the very centre (+ or o). That's all. Quote

I guess it has to be a one-layer-solution? Meaning not two bricks like over each other. Difficult. :-/ Try peeron.com and type "technic connector" in the search field. Does any of that pieces help? SlyOwl Posted January 21, 2008 Author Posted January 21, 2008 Well I really wanted a one-layer solution and this part could have helped, but it would have meant a 2.5 height, so it won't really work. The trouble is, I was using a pentagon-based pyramid, and so each different layer would have to be a different distance form the corners... I think I might turn to a hexagon, but it will ruin my colour scheme (limited parts |-/ ) and will look slightly stranger... Ah well. Thanks anyway. :-) SlyOwl Quote
