In the chassis pictures you showed in the beginning there was only one layer of beams at the back. Is that still the case? If so adding another layer (preferably with at least 1 or even better 3 or 5 stud spare inbetween) will improve the stiffness a lot I would think. Of course this advice would have been much more useful when you were at the start of the project The hood is quite something. You captured the lines pretty well within the limitations of LEGO. Quote
