The completion of the Elbe Philharmonic Hall in Hamburg was celebrated with a big opening concert and light show just a few days ago on January 11. Reason enough for me to design a small architecture style LEGO model (262 parts)!

The building by Herzog & de Meuron is 108m high and unifies old and new architecture with a modern construction on top of an old warehouse brick building. It includes a concert hall, apartments and a hotel. It is build on a small peninsula of the Elbe River and is considered to be one of the largest and most acoustically advanced concert halls in the world.

You can download the PDF instructions (for free) to build this model on my website http://www.thilo-schoen.de/lego.html. Hope you like it!
