I was thinking of seeing if the u-wing gets discounted to get a second one for parts and maybe use the lower canopy on the ti op but I don't know if that would be too big, its the cockpit that' s my real issue as it needs to be wider Quote

With regards to the price I doubt the U-Wing will be discounted. You can pick them up pretty cheap on Bricklink without minifigures. You would probably be much better off creating it in LDD and then Bricklinking the parts. Kind regards, Ellis. Quote

Smitty500 Posted January 23, 2017 Posted January 23, 2017 TLG(C)= The Lego Group (or Company) LDD= Lego Digital Designer You should ask this in the general questions section Forum Information Page. These are commonly used terms here. You may also see AFOL, which is Adult Fan of Lego. Now lets get back on topic. Quote

Ellisss_2 Posted February 9, 2017 Author Posted February 9, 2017 Haven't done any work on this in a while, decided to do some, mainly after being reinspired by @StarBricks's model. Please help me improve the model! Thank you for viewing, Kind regards, Ellis! Quote
VaderFan2187 Posted February 9, 2017 Posted February 9, 2017 @Ellisss_2 Looks good! Only problem is the engines seem a little oversized, but not sure how that can be rectified. Quote

Ramses25 Posted February 9, 2017 Posted February 9, 2017 Hello ! Very nice improvements on you model ;) I would have two things to say : - I would keep the Dark Bluish Gray for the greebling at the rear top of the U-wing. - The radiator grid at the rear should be narrower and higher. Lokk at this picture : Otherwise the model looks very good ! Honestly it will be on my top list to build the day you'll release the LDD file ;) Keep up the good work ! Ramses25 Quote

legoSWfan Posted February 10, 2017 Posted February 10, 2017 Your model is, as I already said before, very nice but imo the first thing you should improve is the shape of the nose. Yours is too flat, you need to make it more curve and maube thicker. I can't remember, how many figs can the troop bay contain ? I can't wait to have the LDD files Quote

With regards to the number of figs in the troop bay, I cannot remember either. Glad you can't wait for the LDD/instructions. Quote

The "actual" ship really is mostly flat, and, the Lego model has an exaggerated curve. Quote

I wasn't intending to create a huge discourse over it, looking at the pictures, I realize I was a little confused on the which curve on which part of the nose you were talking about (I thought it was the blue part). My bad sorry In lieu of an LFX file, is it maybe possible to get closer pictures of your updated model? Edited February 10, 2017 by IronFish Quote
