Captain Flint Posted December 13, 2016 Posted December 13, 2016 My entry to the CCC XIV, for the Traveling Salesman category. If you need a weapon, a traveling salesman Tindan has it all for you. He makes that all warriors in a darklands are armed to the teeth. Quote
TitusV Posted December 13, 2016 Posted December 13, 2016 That's a really nice build! Though theyellow seems very flashy in comparison with the other colours used, that wagon is really gorgeous! Quote
Slegengr Posted December 13, 2016 Posted December 13, 2016 Excellent cart, Captain Flint! Nice window and awning on the side of the cart! The lack of studs except for decorative purposes gives the cart a very clean appearance! Interesting ground texturing, though I think it could be improved with at least some slight elevation difference. The hay on the ground is great, and it also might look better placed on top of the ground rather than sunk in. The display of weapons and armor is very nice! Quote
Henjin_Quilones Posted December 15, 2016 Posted December 15, 2016 I love that cart, with the clean look of well-planed boards and the nice awning. Tindan himself looks less than friendly, and perhaps not someone to trust; but if a guy makes a living selling weapons in the Darklands, friendly might not survive long. I agree with Slegengr that the ground could use a bit more texture, as well as that the hay would probably be better sitting a plate above the ground level; otherwise it does seem like the hay has sunk down into the grass and rock. The only bit of original feedback I have is that I am oddly put off by the black 1x1 plates on the corners; for some reason the close proximity to the reddish brown and dark bley is causing it to look off. A different color might be better, like reddish brown or dark brown. Otherwise, I think this looks great! Quote
Full Plate Posted December 15, 2016 Posted December 15, 2016 Looks like a nice, honest salesman Quote
soccerkid6 Posted December 18, 2016 Posted December 18, 2016 Excellent wagon there! I like how you angled the support posts for the cloth Quote
The Maestro Posted December 18, 2016 Posted December 18, 2016 Excellent entry, the colours work well and the clean look contrast well with the gritty look of the land. I'm loving that hay, the brightness really adds something to the scene. What do you mean he looks unfriendly? Just look at that face, surely he could never tell a lie Quote
en_zoo Posted December 19, 2016 Posted December 19, 2016 lovely wagon, love the cloth sticking out! Quote
Exetrius Posted December 20, 2016 Posted December 20, 2016 I do agree with the critiques on the lack of elevation, but overall it's a nice build that isn't short on detail at all. The cart has a polished look, with subtle but elegant details. Nice set-up of wares, also. Quote
