Capn Frank Posted December 12, 2016 Posted December 12, 2016 After the peppercorn fruits have been picked, they're laid out on a flat surface to be sun dried. Small twigs and leaves are removed and all that is left is peppercorn ready to be sold or ground for seasoning. Known as black gold, every once of peppercorn ensured to be packaged for sale or processing by a trusted attendant. Thanks for looking. Quote
SilentWolf Posted December 12, 2016 Posted December 12, 2016 This is a great way to portray the factory portion of food production. I like the simplicity but effectiveness of showibg the process. Great job! Quote
Garmadon Posted December 12, 2016 Posted December 12, 2016 Neat little build, Phred, the black studs work great for dried pepper, and I do like that counter fellow! Good use of the awning as well, and its great to see some pepper production in BoBS! Quote
Capt Wolf Posted December 12, 2016 Posted December 12, 2016 Nice build representing this process! The drying area for the peppercorn reminds me a bit of my indigo factory with the fermenting pits. Good job with the awning; I wouldn't mind seeing some more picture of that to see how you did it. Quote
Kolonialbeamter Posted December 13, 2016 Posted December 13, 2016 Ah, pepper - cash crop #1, and reason for the entire New World circus to have started... good to see it in Blue hands! Also good to see your workers so determined to turn this into a serious business. And of course, nice overview of the different stages of drying the fruits Quote
Elostirion Posted December 16, 2016 Posted December 16, 2016 Fantastic idea and great to see both the plantation as well as the industry behind it. Quote
