Tyranide Posted January 16, 2008 Posted January 16, 2008 Well, today I managed to get catalogue scans. They're not very big and detailed, but still looks good. Here we go. Instead of looking at al these Brickshelf pictures, I'll recommend you to simply download this catalogue here. gylman Posted January 16, 2008 Posted January 16, 2008 So, does that mean that we have no more surprises left for 2008? All done? Quote
trooperdavinfelth Posted January 16, 2008 Posted January 16, 2008 I should certainly doubt it, gylman! These are all preliminary! And did anyone see the Agents on page 40-41? 8- Quote
whung Posted January 16, 2008 Posted January 16, 2008 Thx so much. This is my first time to look at the new Duplo sets Duplo Castle still continue in 2008 with 3 sets! (4862-4864) 3 sets of new Duplo Trains (5606, 5608, 5609), actucally it should have 5607. First time look at 4998, 8293, 8157 Quote
Lost Viking Posted January 16, 2008 Posted January 16, 2008 So, does that mean that we have no more surprises left for 2008? All done? No, there are still all of the S@H/ TRU exclusives that aren't in the catalogue. Quote
Siegfried Posted January 16, 2008 Posted January 16, 2008 Thanks! *wub* I can't believe there is another Ferrari F1 car. This one's 1:9. :-| If this keeps progressing there will be a 1:1 model soon! X-D EDIT: The last laugh is on me; that last one was 1:8... Quote
trooperdavinfelth Posted January 16, 2008 Posted January 16, 2008 OK, for further notice, it seems pages 40 and 41 have been removed, as well as the file removed from the website. Damn. :-| Quote
phoinix Posted January 16, 2008 Posted January 16, 2008 pages 40 and 41 will not open the only new thing i found is the creator dinosaur thank you for the pics Quote
Siegfried Posted January 16, 2008 Posted January 16, 2008 the only new thing i found is the creator dinosaur Then you aren't looking hard enough! X-D There are some new duplo sets including new trains (and another push along steam train; is this the third or fourth set like this?) and a new Ferrari... ;-) Quote
BrickBob Studpants Posted January 16, 2008 Posted January 16, 2008 (edited) Well, page 40 and 41 don't work because there's a mistake hidden in the link: the "m" in "com" is missing. Add a "m" to the links and it works... ;-) P.S.: It looks like Anakin's new hairpiece is also used in the new agents theme (on pic 28). Edited January 16, 2008 by Lego-Freak Quote
Tiger Posted January 16, 2008 Posted January 16, 2008 (edited) pages 40 and 41 will not open What you need to do is click on it, go to the address bar, and it says ".co" so just add an m. It worked for me. And those Agent sets... :-X Edited January 16, 2008 by Tiger Quote
sam89 Posted January 16, 2008 Posted January 16, 2008 The brick-built 1:9 Ferrari is quite nice. So's the Creator stegosaurus. Quote
blueandwhite Posted January 16, 2008 Posted January 16, 2008 So, does that mean that we have no more surprises left for 2008? All done? Well, we know that there is a fourth Indy set called "River Chase" on the horizon, so that is at least one new surprise. Also, unless my eyes are deceiving me, I noticed a distinct absence of all things Batman in this catalog so that is another surprise. The Shop @ Home stuff like the VW Bug was also absent. Don't forget about things like the Advant Calender either. One thing LEGO is pretty good at doing is keeping fans on their respective toes! I'm sure we have plenty of surprises left. Quote
sam89 Posted January 16, 2008 Posted January 16, 2008 Well, we know that there is a fourth Indy set called "River Chase" on the horizon, so that is at least one new surprise. Isn't that this set? http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/sam89/20...nes_-_river.jpg So, does that mean that we have no more surprises left for 2008? All done? There's still several more Star Wars sets to be revealed: 7678 Droid Gunship (or TIE Defender) 7679 Fighter Tank TX 130S 7680 Twilight 7681 Homing Spider Droid Plus a few Batman sets: 7884 Batman's Buggy: The Escape of Mr. Freeze 7886 The Batcycle: Harley Quinn's Hammer Truck Quote
Minifig Lecturer Posted January 16, 2008 Posted January 16, 2008 The positives for me are that there are lots of small 1 sets with 1 minifig each. The negatives is that they appear to have reduced the largest box of basic building blocks to 600 pieces, down from 1000, and Bionicle still exists. *wacko* Quote
blueandwhite Posted January 16, 2008 Posted January 16, 2008 (edited) Isn't that this set?http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/sam89/20...nes_-_river.jpg Right you are :-$ . I'm always forgetting that fourth set (the one with the tent). Edited January 16, 2008 by blueandwhite Quote
meschepers Posted January 16, 2008 Posted January 16, 2008 The catalog is not downloadable anymore, unless something is mistyped in the link. Quote
Scouty Posted January 16, 2008 Posted January 16, 2008 Thanks a lot *sweet* !! Anything new/interesting I found was the box pictures of the new Indy sets (you can notice the minifigures at least) and the new creator ferry. Quote
Chuck Posted January 16, 2008 Posted January 16, 2008 I also noticed the lack of the Exo-Force Hybrid Rescue Tank and summer sets (if there are any). -Chuck Quote
Joey Lock Posted January 16, 2008 Posted January 16, 2008 I saw the Agent sets and there not as bad as they looked! The Bike is awesome! Quote
Trudop561 Posted January 16, 2008 Posted January 16, 2008 WOW!!! What is the red bionicle on page 2? Quote
paul_delahaye Posted January 16, 2008 Posted January 16, 2008 Also noted the technic excavator is missing from this catalogue and also one of the coastguard sets, the one with the big RIB and unimog. Paul . . . Quote
LuxorV Posted January 16, 2008 Posted January 16, 2008 Thanks for sharing, Tyranide *y* I see there is still space for new sets to come out later on this summer. Let's keep our fingers crossed :-P ! Btw, on the noticing side: am I mistaken or the SpongBob sets are not listed 8-| ? (Not that I miss them that much >:-) ) LuxorV Quote
