Before departing Mooreton Bay, Major Dirk Allcock's agent in Arlinsport contacted him with the news that a small residence had been constructed there for Dirk's use when visiting the Colony. While not planning a visit to Arlinsport anytime soon, Dirk has heard rumours his younger brother may be travelling to Arlinsport to review Dirk's investments in the New World and decide whether or not to direct some of the Allcock family wealth into New World investments.

Typical of the rows of terrace housing appearing in the colony, the house is a narrow property with a small street frontage which shares side walls with the neighbouring properties.

The house has three stories. The ground floor has a small sitting room and a small area for simple food preparation. The second level is a large room for entertaining guests, either for dinner parties or conferences. The top level is the sleeping quarters, with a large four post bed and an assortment of hats for a fashionable gentlemen!

Licensed as a small residence in Arlinsport, Tiberia. While I have been away I have not forgotten BoBS! While I haven't had much of a chance to comment recently and my physical bricks are at home, I have had a chance to play around in LDD. It's been fun, having an unlimited supply of bricks is very cool. It's the first time I've rendered anything, and while it looks great, I feel alot of the detail is probably lost (although admittedly that happens IRL as well!). Looking forward to getting back to my real bricks, although I won't rule out future LDD builds!

Very nice build, Ayrlego, the exterior is neat, but the inside is what really stands out! :pir-wink:  I really like that dinning room and the dresser with the hats on it, and the bed and stairs are a couple of things I'll have to remember too!  Keep it up!

Decent looking building - very classy. Lovely interior, too.

It seems to me you used bluerender v0.005? If you use v0.006 instead, there'll be some spacing in between the bricks - which might result in a slightly more realistic feeling.

Keep it up :classic:

Great foray into LDD! I didn't even realize it wasn't real bricks at first. Excellent row house, with nice detail at the entry and the roof (not to mention the interior!). Well done!

And if you're starting to dabble in LDD, I fear none of us will be able to keep up with you! :pir-grin:

Lovely first forage into the world of digital builds. I have heard some rumours that these "computers" are the next big thing! :P

I like the house (and story) and I think it fits wonderfully, into my own thoughts on Arlinsport. The amount of rooms and utility you have managed to include on a relatively small footprint (how many studs?) is impressive, especially considering you have managed to get the always impossible stairs in too!

The render is a bit too clean for my taste, but for a first try it really is very well done - I highly doubt I would have made it that far so early! :)

Keep it up! (and don't even think about forgetting BoBS! Queen Anetta needs YOU to stay in the army! :P *insert pointing Anetta* )
