Hello,

after months of building, I can finally present you my latest moc: a modular museum! I've used set 60008 as a base and starting point. Didn' know how it would turn out, because I don't build in LDD first, it was just trial and error! It's for 99% completed. Maybe you can spot the missing brick(s)?

Some more images from the outside can bee seen on my Flickr: https://www.flickr.com/photos/pixyourlife/

Hope you like!

The backside of the building; it's just the backside! ;-)

The toilet is only visible by opening a part from the backside, the restroom is "hidden" under the stairs from the ground to the first floor.

Just need to make a custom sticker for the sign above the gift shop:

It was a fun build, but it took too much time. Next finished project will hopefully be my mod of the Brick Bank, turning it into a police station! Stay tuned!

Feel free to comment.

This is a nice build. I like how you fit all those different exhibitions in so little space. Just one question: what's up with the panda?

Thank you! Ah, the Panda... I pretend it's an old Chinese pottery.

So it must be one of those famed Ming dynasty pandas. :classic:

Very impressive! I love all the attention you put into the interiors. The outside is awesome as well. I can't wait to see your next project!

This is so awesome. :)

I feel like both inside and out it fits with TLG Modular Street, not an easy feat. So well detailed and still clean. Nice work. :)

Great job! It's cool that you did this without LDD. I get too distracted using it. I'd rather MOC with physical bricks, but I've never made anything to this scale! Inspiring work!

I also like your use of other sets within the exhibits. I've been looking for a use for the Pirate Island elements (the skull especially because it's just so cool). Keep up the good work!

Now, this is very impressive.
You made great use of the space inside, and the details of the interior are wonderful.

That "pirate room" with the skull and cannon is brilliant!

Keep clicking those bricks together.

I like it very much! All those details, a lot of artifacts and things like the toilet and of course the modular well-looking outside.

Awesome! The façade is really interesting and really fitting for a museum.

I also like all of the interior details. It's a nice balance between enough detail to evoke a museum without being too cluttered that the details are lost.

If it was an official Modular, I'd buy it without any hesitation.

Great modular, the arched window on the top floor is definitely my favorite part of the facade, the brown frames looks nice there. The warm colors overall look perfect here. The interior is great as well; the space is used very effectively.

For me the facade is the eyecatcher - really like the way you built it.

Your MOC reminds me a little bit of the movie "a night at the museum" - in a positive way. Imagine all those minifigs become alive at night... :sweet:

Wow!  This is awesome!  I really like how you spaced everything out like a real museum instead of trying to jam as much in as you could.  All the special pieces and minifigs on display are great!  This is definitely Lego modular-worthy!
