Lego Technic C-3PO

G'day Everyone,

Recently I have been clearing out my lego stuff and came across a Lego C-3PO type thing and i did some research, seems like they are claimed to be rare and prices vary hugely. Is this thing worth holding onto or am I good to go with selling it and if anyone knows an estimated price for it in AUD that would be handy. Thanks!

Here's the Bricklink link for set 8007-1. It's an uncommon set but I would not say that it is particular valuable, rare or in high demand. Used, it should get you about $65.00 USD (85 AUD).

As you can see the used prices are about the same as the original retail price. When you are looking into stuff like this, it's not worth only checking the listings, but the actual sold items. 

They also have a forum over there, maybe you're better off asking about it there.

Unfortunately people abuse the word "rare" these days and sometimes make it equivalent to "very valuable". I'd say do your research based on the above advice.
