Great find Joey!

What a wonderfully detailed and beautiful castle. The mix of bley and gray is very pretty on this castle. I like the open wall.

But Sir Nadroj falling of the slippery stairs made me smile :-D

Thanks Joey!

Btw, a picture of the MOC in the first post could attract more members to the topic ;-)

I resized one so it would fit in the post. clicky.

It is a nice little castle. I quite enjoy seeing castles set in a winter landscape as it adds for a bit of variety. The exterior shape is quite fetching, however I find the mixture of bley/grey to be a bit distracting. A few specialized elements here and there doesn't bother me, but the heavy mixture of the two bothers me. The design itself is very good, and there are alot of rooms on the interior despite limited space.

A very nice MOC *y* .

Very nice finding *y*

The ice hanging from some rocks at the outside is also nice.

Actually, since both colors are pretty much evenly used throughout the MOC, the combination of bley and grey doesn't disturb me as much as it usually does. And the snow on the roof and the icicles are really nicely done. However, to be perfectly honest, on the whole I think the interiour of the castle looks much better than the exteriour. Just gotta love all those fun details inside! *sweet*

I think the use of gray/bley and the dark gray/bley is quite realistic. I love this MOC.

I agree, I think that having three shades of gray lends itself to a more realistic, mottled look.

I don't like the bley/grey combo but there is definitely something very striking about this MOC!

Thanks for posting!

God Bless,
