So where is your city located? Do you want to tell us how the places in your house where parts of the city are located correspond to "Reigons" in your lego world?

for example...

Albrickuerque Reigons and theme associacions...
-Albrickuerque (formal dining room)
Themes used:
Town
-Wayouttatown Reigon (Sister's room...Once she goes off to college)
Themes used:
Town
Creator
Indy
Outback (should i be able to get my hands on a few of those sets)
Trains*
-Workforce's Mtn**. (Bedroom)
Themes used:
Exo-Force
Unassociated reigons*** (backyard)
Themes used:
any

*a physical train line between my sister's room and the formal dining room would be impossible because they are on different floors. However, i will build tunnels that "Lead to" either area. The connection between the two reigons is purely implied.

**Sentai is japanese for "Workforce", thus making The workforce's mountain Sentai Mountain.

***used sparingly. If you noticed all the loose lego parts partially embedded in dirt over by our decorative fishpond, you'd know why.

A (undeniably simple) map

im just working on a single layout on my office floor... but i imagine the layout representing a mid-western (USA) industrial economy based city. much like detroit MI, cleveland OH, or Pittsburgh PS - but with a shipping port (i really love 7994 ;-) ).

very good topic, im interested in where others cities are located. i'd imagine that people probably build cities much like the ones they live in or close to.

re-reading this topic and the replies, i realize i may have misunderstood it. i thought we were talking about (hypothetically) what worldly geographic location is your city based in. oops.

though, a much better topic, i think ;-) i like seeing everyones digially rendered maps though !!!
