My latest MOC is an armoured personnel carriers (APC) which is a fighting vehicle developed to transport infantry on the battlefield. My MOC can either have a machine gun turret, mortor or anti-tank guided missiles on the turret The K-DK 1 as it was designated, as "D.K" are my initials, and the "K" stands for Kingdinian, was developed by my town's military as a response to the growing tension between the E.N and the axis of clone brands.

So here it is!

A 3/4 quarters view from the front:

A view from the back, unfortunately I mucked up the lighting for this photo:

It is able to fit seven people in it, including the driver (Admittedly it is a tight squeeze):

the front is reminiscent of the old German SdKfz 251:

I went for the "studs showing" approach:

A picture of the back, which folds down to allow troops in, *a bit* :

That's all folks! Feedback welcome!

BTW is is loosely based on the French VAB too!

Nice MOC, I like the general shape of the vehicle, it looks a bit like the armoured cars used by banks. Good choice for the wheels, I like armoured vehicles which have large wheels so that they do not look odd... X-D

If I can only give you a small piece of advice: you should add some kind of window to the front of the vehicle because the driver looks a bit exposed to enemy fire... but it's just a suggestion.

Thanks for the comments.

I have slightly modified the front, and I will take your advise on the windscreen, I am just going to need to find the right piece, then I will post a picture of the new modification!

I love this Lord of Pies!

The color scheme is excellent! The wheels make it great too!

I like how you made it to hold so many troops, I've never been able to get that. *y*

Overall, it's a beauty that you should be proud of!

*y* Heya! Nice build ya got

I like the angled end compartment and door, although with any moc posting I would like to give abit of healthy critisizm :-P The only thing that really bothers me is the front. It seems so very thin compaired to the rest that seems like a bulking armoured beast, the front seems to slope down into a.. duck bill?

I think maybe some fenders and some beefing up of the front would help this, but great job :-$

I mean just in case the time ever arose I needed to throw a pie in your general direction.

As for the front, well err...yeah. I struggled with that very much so, I will take your advise and try to beef it up, perhaps a plate or two.

Awesome personnel carrier Lord of Pies! I always enjoy your stuff! *sweet*

The "studs showing" approach has payed off, I think more futuristic vehicles go studless. The front looks great, and the inside is excellent, I had forgotten to make things for the EN, looks like my town will be under attack soon, will you help me?

Anyway, excellent MOC, I look forward to seeing more *y*

Batbrick is Back! >:-)

Of course I will help! I'm glad you like my MOC, despite my crappy photography! (I'm still learning :-$ ) I also don't have enough smooth plates to have a studless approach anyway! :-D
