How to attach a Knights Kingdom Armor-shell to a CCBS bone or shell?

Recently I've been trying to attach those armor shells from Knights Kingdom to an CCBS bone or shell. Especially this one: http://brickset.com/sets/containing-part-4244770

I wanted to attach them to the CCBS Shell to make some nice looking pauldrons, but came to an halt when I tried to find a way.

But I somehow cant seem to find any way to attach them. I also tried building some custom limbs, but the results weren't good.

So I wanted to ask, do you know any good examples or techniques on how to attach them?

This piece may be helpful. Combined with a half pin this should allow you to attach the armor to the shell. I'm not sure how wobbly this solution is however.

If you want a custom build, this should be your best option :

If you want to use a classic CCBS bone, something like this could do the job :

It requires to cut a flex tube, and the pauldron might rotate on the pin (I haven't tested this build with actual pieces), so I prefer the first solution.

I tried the second version before I made this thread and it does indeed wobble around, but the first version is pretty much spot-on.
