Sweetestgreek Posted August 8, 2016 Posted August 8, 2016 This is officially my second MOC since I came out of my dark ages! Long-time lurker, second-time poster. Just a few caveats: - I created this one earlier this year when I was still living in China and only have a handful of sets to build from. I didn't have Johnny Thunder available so I used Sam Sinister and the Asian guards instead. So let's just call it safe and say this is in the jungles of southern China/Vietnam/Thailand - I'm still working on my lighting, editing (can't find my original files and all I have left are these poorly-editied photos) and picture taking (obviously) - This was clearly inspired by the original River Expedition (http://brickset.com/...iver-Expedition) [MOC] River Expedition I tried my best to make this an actual steamboat by adding the paddlewheels in the back: And used one of the lighting pieces to the coal burner: And here's an individual shot of the island: Hope you like it and would be interested in constructive criticism and thoughts! Mister_Nuss Posted August 8, 2016 Posted August 8, 2016 Looks great! I love the temple especially the mouth entry with the spikes as teeth. The boat is great too! I love how the paddle turned out. Maybe the railing is a little bit on the short site though. Nice work! Quote
Murdoch17 Posted August 8, 2016 Posted August 8, 2016 This looks awesome, great work on the paddle wheel steamship, plus I love the light brick inclusion! Quote
