oo7 Posted January 1, 2008 Posted January 1, 2008 I'm contemplating purchasing a Brickforge Corinthian plume but I'm wondering how well it fits with other helmets. I would be very grateful if someone who owns the piece could perhaps explain to me how the plume fits in the 'Castle Helmet with Dragon Crown Top' with the use of either text of pictures. The helmet that I refer to looks like such - Thank you very much. *y* Nathan Quote

Imperial13 Posted January 1, 2008 Posted January 1, 2008 Hey, another Nathan! Thats my name to, and maybe a good sanding would do it, or if its to small use some clay or resin! Quote
Armothe Posted January 1, 2008 Posted January 1, 2008 In the case of the DragonMaster Helmet our plume will not fit due to the dragon head in the front. For other helmets, including our own - the plume was really designed for the Corinthian Helmet so application on other headgear is possible but depending on the piece it may pop-out easily. -A Quote
Tanotrooper Posted January 3, 2008 Posted January 3, 2008 Armothe, couldn't it side sideways on the helmet like with Roman centurios? TT Quote
Hinckley Posted January 5, 2008 Posted January 5, 2008 Armothe, couldn't it side sideways on the helmet like with Roman centurios?TT It does fit. The hole is slightly too small and it resizes the pin (is that the correct term?) a bit making it a looser fit in the Brickforge helmet. It still fits well enough where it won't fall out, though. oo7 Posted January 9, 2008 Author Posted January 9, 2008 Hey guys, I'm sorry I haven't been able to reply sooner as I've been really busy lately. Interesting that it fits in sideways, makes wonder whether that could possibly be centered as well. Anyway, I suppose if Brickforge produces a Roman helmet like the prototype shown in Brickjournal 9 I will use that one to suit my needs here. Thank you all again for your informative enlightenment! Yup, that will be a better option. The Corinthian Helmet and Centurion Helmet will share a (off-center) plume and the Legionairre Helmet will receive its own (center) plume. -A Quote
