Day Three: What's With the Delay?

"Well?" you ask "What the hell is with this delay?"

Sorry, I was a tad busy and I was also thinking over--

"No pictures and now slow game. For shame."

But, we don't need pictures...

"Then why is this a LEGO game?"

Bob stood on the stairs of the Town Hall.

"Happy? Here's your goddamn picture."

DAY THREE

Today's Mayor is Lindsey Green / Khscarymovie4!

He must pick a Town Council Chair and nominate that person publicly here. Then you will have 24 hours to approve his government by voting either Yes or No. He should do so ASAP without delay.

Remember, if three governments fail in a row (that would be 72 hours theoretically - three 24 hour periods), then the top card is flipped and that policy is enacted.

Well, today should be straight forward.

We have an investigation result to test and, if f the previous government are not lying scumbos, some reasonable odds.

There is (pending honesty) a 15 in 33 chance of drawing on two scum, one town policies,

A 4 in 33 chance of three scum cards. And half that of three towns.

We have a 12 in 33 chance of drawing two town, one scum cards.

In the case of town towns, Lindsey should pass both to the TCC, the need to pass a town policy very clearly outweighs the need to test the chair.

Posted

Yeah, Anne should definitely be TCC today, so long as what's been said yesterday (and Lindsay is town) we should be able to get an was town policy.

Posted

Yep, I think we have a pretty clear win map today. With a confirmed townie in power, the odds of a Mafia card passing are around 13%.

Yeah. If Anne is town (which she is, as I know) she will pass a town policy anyway. If she is scum, there's no point in giving her more options. No point in testing. This day should go very well for us.

Seeing as Lindsay isn't coming any time soon, maybe we should discuss who Day 4 TCC could be.

We only have one confirmed townie (Medium), who can't be TCC tomorrow. I'm thinking we could try and get someone new

The new Mayor is Ralph Brooks / Actor Builder!

If two more governments fail, the top card will be flipped.

Well, we can't let that happen. While Ralph's contributions have been somewhat lacking, at least he has been active enough that he should be able to nominate Anne in time.

Good question. I'd like to throw my hat in the ring again, but seeing as I was the mayor who was forced to enact a scum policy, maybe it would not be smart to vote for me. From your point of view, the same should go for Robert Butler, as there is the chance that we worked together to pass a scum policy, even if that's not the case. If things go well, Ralph and Anne should be ineligible, and after her failure to appear today in time, I would suggest we don't give Lindsey a second term.

Yeah, I mean on the one hand it would be good to give Lindsay a chance to have an idea if she is town or scum but on the other it would be a whole lot better to have two confirmed townies running the government rather than a potential mafia one.

Obviously its completely up to the next mayor but I agree with you, anyone in the last two days would be fine by me. You and Robert being is a tiny possibility, but highly unlikely, I just can't see two scum members taking that risk.

I vote Yes.

Hopefully Anne won't be stuck with a mafia mayor, but I can never really get a good read on AB due to the wackiness of his comments.

I had no idea that absurdity is the mother of illiteracy! Very well!

Has Ralph Brooks actually nominated Anne yet?

In bold I mean.

Very good and true and indisputable point indeed! I must yell out my nomination for all to hear, even if they are asleep and in bed!

I, RALPH WITH THE HAT, NOMINATE...ANNE...FOR TOWN COUNCIL CHAIR!!! IN THE SAME VALUABLE VAIN, I VOTE YES!!!

Thank you, good sir, for the real and relevant reminder!

Posted

I'm actually torn because I think Ralph is the only one who has looked obviously scummy at this point. However, I will vote yes because he's at least gone along with the proposal.

Vote: Yes.

Posted

Well we know the investigation proves that Anne I'd town and even though Ralph has acted scummy in the past I don't think he can fool us with this one since the probability of a scum policy passing without Anne finding out is low so..

Vote: Yes

Quite a bold statement, Mr Hat. I vote yes.

Can't say I disagree, but I know Anne is town so I'm more than happy to vote for her. Of course, at this point a scum mayor who wouldn't propose Anne might as well wear a sign that says "Hi, I'm scum".

Agreed. I will consider it extremely suspect if Anne doesn't get at least one town policy.
