Classic Castle Heraldry

I am looking for help from a true LEGO Castle fan! I am intending to draw up the complete LEGO Castle Heraldry. There is already a nice introduction to LEGO Heraldry, but it is rather outdated by now. Do you have a complete overview of all the symbols/heraldry that the different fractions used over the years? My only idea on how to approach the problem would be to look at all the Minifigure Shields. Hopefully you have a better idea. Please let me know!

Not directly an overview on all shields made, but for an overview of sets, this site: http://www.rittersets.de seems to be pretty complete. The language shouldn't be an issue here

Good idea! I think looking at the shields on brick set might be better as they have a function that links you to sets containing that part. Alternatively, maybe just have a browse through the database of castle sets- that would be the best way to have it in context.
