I've decided to restart the subject in a seperate topic to avoid cluttering the rumour threads. Feel free to add more then one. Big Figs are permitted. I'll go first:

Marvel-Thanos, War Machine, Green Goblin

DC-Killer Moth, Blue Beetle, Deadshot

Easily the Silver Centurion for Marvel, I mean, he's the most detailed LEGO Marvel minifigure ever in my opinion. For DC? Ehhh, honestly, I really adore the BvS Wonder Woman and the Gotham City Chase Harley Quinn. Both are so cute.

Totally agree, I also like the Iron Skull, he`s my favourite Marvel bad guy and although I`m a life-long D.C. fan ,I think Lego have failed to produce a mega good bad-guy ,even though Deadshot isn`t bad!;that said I`m only posting about figures I`ve actually got myself, not ones seen on this forum or Youtube

(I'm Marvel only, so... no opinion on the DC side)

Silver Centurian is pretty clearly the best minifig this year--possibly Giant Man if we're counting him. But favorite would have to go to either Captain Marvel or Black Panther. Both could be improved (better hairpiece / leg printing respectively), but bot are overall great minifigs of characters I've been wanting for awhile.

Of all time... dunno, but Loki, Dr. Doom, MODOK, Miles Morales, and the red boot Spider-Man are all up there.

This. I would add Micro Ant Man.

Silver Centurion and Green Goblin and Wonder Woman are definitely up there, as is the Juniors Lex Luthor.

MARVEL: (2016)

Probably the Silver Centurion as far as detail goes but I really do love the upcoming Hawkeye and Dr. Strange minifigs.

And for some reason Vulture, Iron Skull, Ms. Marvel, and War Machine have captured my heart too.

And I really do enjoy having a Winter Soldier MCU minifigure. And of course Giant Man and micro fig Ant Man are so great!

As for figures not from 2016 I really like Ultimate Miles Morales Spidey, Ant Man, AoU Hulk Big fig and the AoU Captain America.

DC: (2016)

Harley Quinn and Armored Batman are probably my faves. Surprisingly Killer Moth and Blue Beetle are pretty awesome too and so is Juniors Lex Luthor (without the armor of course to see all that AMAZING printing)

I also really enjoy the common New 52 Batman figure we're getting and Man of Steel Superman and Silver Wonder Woman. Definitely my definitive versions of those figs.

MARVEL: (2016)

I personally loved the Silver Centurion figure a long with Falcon, Giantman, Spidey from CW and Thanos is pretty cool too I guess.

DC: (2016)

Absolutely love the DoJ Wonderwoman! Best part of the wave for me! I really like the Captain Boomerang, Killer Moth, Katanna and Red Hood figures. Blue Beetle is a good touch, I've always loved him! Also I really liked the Lex Luthor Juniors figure, I can't get enough of his mech suits!

(Thanks Legocity2713, I just copied your template)

Thanos is pretty cool, and came close to making my list... except that the lack of an Infinity Gauntlet filled me with a fear that this was going to be followed up with an MCU, no Gauntlet variant for Infinity War 1, and then an MCU, w/ Gauntlet for Infinity War 2. I don't got room for that many Big Fig variants, Lego! Why aren't you catering to my very, very specific needs, geeze.

Doctor Strange.

If you went back in time and told me that one of my favorite superheroes was going to have a minifigure in my favorite toy I wouldn't believe you. Now I get to see him whenever I want! Captain Marvel is a very close second along the same line. (Though I would have preferred the classic Ms. Marvel suit from the 70s)

Marvel: I absolutely love Silver Centurion Iron-Man, Civil War Spider-Man, Ghost Rider, Hobgoblin and Vulture but my favorite has to be Green Goblin, he is such a flawless figure that I've been wanting since the marvel video game!

DC: BvS Wonder Woman, Killer Moth, Captain Boomerang, and 1966 Catwoman are all favorites of mine, but for me 1966 Joker beats them all
