As far as I understand it, because I missed the initial start up period, if I buy one of these now, it won't ship until December right? also, I have a windows phone. I don't want to start the Android vs Apple discussion here, but if your argument against Apple is that it's overpriced, you might as well turn to Lepin instead of LEGO. Appie Posted October 3, 2016 Posted October 3, 2016 Completely off topic but: The difference is that Apple is basically a Samsung phone on the inside and out (cpu, screen, memory and more all made by Samsung) with an Apple tag and custom OS. Once Lepin is actual quality like Samsung, you'd see a lot more people jump ship from Lego to the cheaper Lepin. Quote

Ron1 Posted October 19, 2016 Posted October 19, 2016 Hi all, You are right, BuWizz status update is in order :-) We are super busy, busy busy; gearing up for production. Plastic molding tools are almost ready - we are waiting for housing samples. We were working on finalizing electronics, firmware,... We still have to do some testing and we are waiting for all components to arrive to start production. We are also upgrading iOS and Android apps. And we did some changes to make BuWizz more future safe - more about this later, let's keep it a surprise for now ;-) Right now we are on track for first shipments in November, but this depends on a chain of tasks/milestones that need to happen as predicted. No promises until we have all the parts/components delivered (this is one of our worries - possible delays in obtaining any critical component might delay our shipping date). Will post a more detailed update later. Thanks for your patience, we are doing our best to deliver what we promised! Quote
