On S@H all of the postal/cargo sets say "Hard to find", as you may or may not have noticed. Where, besides LEGO stores, can you find these? Is it several stores exclusivly? Like once I found the Police car, which has a similar label on S@H, at K-Mart. Will they be availible at chains like that? I ask this because I am nowhere near a Lego Store and the closest TRU is about 20 miles away.

Thanks!

lol they say that about the 05 (well now it has the 08 stickers) police car as "rare" before it had the new stickers and i walked into David Jones,BigW & Kmart and they were EVERYWHERE!!! far from hard to find |-/ .

I agree "hard to find" items seriously piss me off >:-(

The nearest TRU is 160 miles away, and the nearest Lego Store is over 2000 miles away

Such sets as the Hoth Base, TIE crawler, SSA, Dwarf Mines, Service station, RC, SI, and many more!

These will probably be a TRU exclusive *n* Since I wanted to buy these postal sets and I can't even buy one in person!!

Rant ON!

160 miles is pretty far, even when you don't have to take a boat or plane to get to it. :-/

That's about how far I am to the Chicago Lego Store, where apparently all these new sets end up arriving first.

I looked on the LEGO site and saw that the police car was a ''hard to find'' and got to my nearest LEGO store and bang: 6 of them :-D. Well,I don't know when the postal/cargo sets are coming,we don't have such wonders like TRU. But I'll bet that they will come anyway. I haven't looked to a LEGO store for a while... I must go to there tomorrow.

Hard to Find is a lot like Exclusive, it varies. In many cases, Hard to Find on a normal product simply means it hasn't shipped out to a lot of stores, so it really is hard to find compared to an older set.

Either way, I'll agree that I hope these are widely stocked, mostly because I'm hoping to pick them up on sale at some point. I like ordering direct from LEGO, when they don't crush the life out of my boxes, but I don't always like paying full price (it wouldn't be so bad if I wasn't also stuck with sales tax). At that rate, I'd rather just get it in a store and know it's in good condition.

I called the local Lego service and they told me that the new postal and cargo sets will arrive here (northern Holland) between 1 and 30 April. Well that's ya problem |-/ .

Atleast for me and the other Hollanders here in the north-eastern regions.

I should get them this week (yeay !!)

RupeeClock, I hear you !! In France we won't have Indy sets before March !!

And to all, that hard to find thing really is a joke !! The TRuck and Forklift was listed as hard to find also and its in every TRU (like the Xwing 6212 !!)

*yoda*

I went to see the toyshop guy today, and here in New Zealand we don't get any Lego restocked until sometime during March "next year" (I think they don't realise it's 2008 already... :-|), which means we're stuck with the Lego shelves being crowded with other brands that aren't even cheap clone brands, or anything resembling Lego, and a bunch of ETX Alien Strike sets. |-/ On a more positive note, he also said we'll be getting some small sets, which I assume are Impulse, in January. Again, I don't think they realise it already is January. :-P

i scoured my local tru (gateshead northeast england) all they had was the 2007 exo force and several damaged technic ferraris |-/

so no new here. i also went to 3 woolworths after seeing an advert saying they had the 2008 exo force, none. it was quite dissapointing, why start adverts if it isn't true?

If I read all these replies, I am getting wrong hope of what 2008 is going to give us. |-/

*n* It seems nowhere except USA and Canada the new 2008 January sets are in (as LEGO calls it:) "full stock". :-/

Well it seems Germany, France and maybe Spain have these sets on some locations for sale, but anyway we have to wait until (atleast) March to see these sets in more and more places. :-|

Thanks, RupeeClock.
