Lt. Veers Posted December 22, 2007 Posted December 22, 2007 Has anyone else heard these rumors and believed them? If you have, you've just been proven correct. I saw this on a "Star wars after the movies" type of poster. In 2007, it showed the 30th anniversey celebration. In 2008, it shows the new clone wars series. Then, in 2009, it shows the Star wars Live action TV series. All it shows is a close up of Boba Fett's head, but that makes me think that it will have a bounty hunter theme to it. What do you think? Imperial13 Posted December 22, 2007 Posted December 22, 2007 yeah this rumor was confirmed by george lucas in my local newspaper! Quote
SupremeCommmanderGrievous Posted December 23, 2007 Posted December 23, 2007 I have known about this series for some time. It will take place between episodes 3 and 4. It will focus on minor characters from the movies, and completely new characters. Quote
alexrider7 Posted January 4, 2008 Posted January 4, 2008 very true. i'm a Star Wars Magazine reciver and they have talked about it many times. you are very right. -Off to my next mission- ALEX RIDER Quote

trooperdavinfelth Posted February 14, 2008 Posted February 14, 2008 Great translation, *yoda* ! I'm glad to see it's still going. I heard rumors and some proven statements that the Clone Wars would replace it. :-/ Clearly Rick McCallum is no man to waste his time, so both will more than likely be made! *y* I'm VERY happy to see Boba will be a central character... *wub* Quote

Thank you, so much. Original music *wub* . If possible, I'm buying that ASAP. I wonder if it'll be ol' Johnny Williams composing 8-| . "Geargie boy is late writing !!" What is that supposed to mean? xwingyoda Posted February 14, 2008 Posted February 14, 2008 "Geargie boy is late writing !!"What is that supposed to mean? Since Georges and Rick came back from Cannes festival in 2005, Rick asked Gearges to give him the arc story for the live series and always failed to do so because of his amount of work including: * business of all Lucasfilm companies * Supervision of the Clone Wars * moving Lucasfilm to Presidio... For the last year Rick is working with 4 conceptual artists & 6 screenplay guys (2 English, 1 Aussie and 3 US). Each of these guys have to write a complete script on his own. Rick is expecting to havethe first scripts by end of february. He will rework the scripts to find the arc of the first season and then should have the definite script by june (if all gos well !) *yoda* Quote
Ras 74 Posted February 14, 2008 Posted February 14, 2008 Thanks Yoda for these fantastic news! I was so sure that since the Cartoon series of CW, this live one was scraped. So we will have a few awesome years to look forward to. I was struck by a a question about those 100 episodes. Since ordinary TV series usually are 24-25 episodes for one season at the time, and often per year, will this live thing be for 4 years or what? Let Quote
JINZONINGEN73 Posted February 14, 2008 Posted February 14, 2008 That means it will continue to 2012.When did the TLC licence ran out? 2011, right? Will TLC extend the license one more time? Well, you're forgetting that the world's going to end in 2012, so... ::gets hit in the face:: Quote
Vader Posted February 14, 2008 Posted February 14, 2008 Even though it will be great to see Boba and friends on the small screen, i will never understand why lucas hasnt done a series based on *vader* 's hunting and purge of the remaining jedi. Oh well i'll just have to keep dreaming..... :'-( Quote

xwingyoda Posted February 14, 2008 Posted February 14, 2008 Ras I wrote it somwhere above, in 2009 will be the first season but in 2010 there will be 2 different series coexisting and they hope to make 3 in 2011 8- Quote

Wout Posted February 14, 2008 Posted February 14, 2008 (edited) I read in the Time of this week (with Obama and H.Clinton on the front) that Lucas has put some business in South-east asia were they are doing some cgi for the new series, now I don't know if it 's for the new clone wars or something different. xwingyoda Posted February 15, 2008 Posted February 15, 2008 And I forgot something pretty neat: it seems we will see young Han beeing raised on Kashyyyk by wookiees and Chewie ;-) They showed conceptual designs of EP III but they might include it in the storyline which would be cool ;-) *yoda* Quote
Lord Thrawn Posted February 15, 2008 Posted February 15, 2008 But tht would ruin the pre-existing continuity which I've had enough of. Han trained as an Imperial then left to help the wookiees. Quote
zero1312 Posted February 15, 2008 Posted February 15, 2008 But tht would ruin the pre-existing continuity which I've had enough of. Han trained as an Imperial then left to help the wookiees. Yeah, those stripes on his pants showing a militaristic past. ;-) Quote
JINZONINGEN73 Posted February 16, 2008 Posted February 16, 2008 Couldn't he have played with Wookies as a kid and still keep the training as an Imperial dealie intact? Well, unless some writer accidentally closed that bridge off already... Quote
Lord Thrawn Posted February 16, 2008 Posted February 16, 2008 I'm not sure a boy who grew up on Kashyyyk would have been able to join the imperial navy so easily. Han on Wookieepedia Quote
