jedikermit Posted December 22, 2007 Posted December 22, 2007 I saw in Big Lots ad this week that they had LEGO sets at 50% of what other retailers charge, so I went by today, and their regular prices (not sale prices) were pretty good. I picked up the Prehistoric Creatures Creator set for $9.99, the Vikings Battle Wagon (probably the wrong name--the Army Builder with 8 or so Vikings in it) for $11.99, and they had the mini creator sets (monkey, planes, cars, robots) for $3 each. So if you have one near you, it could pay to check it out. They had several from different themes, but I just grabbed the Dinos and the Vikings. I went to a different location yesterday, and they didn't have any LEGO at all. So it's pretty hit and miss.
meschepers Posted December 22, 2007 Posted December 22, 2007 I heard about this from my brother. He said the local one had the Viking set. Now that I know it's that cheap I'm going to pick that up tomorrow. Can't have too many Vikings.
