Yes, it even happened twice with the Rebel Scout Trooper battle pack (7668) and the Mandalorian battle pack (7914) that both featured four identical minifigs

I hope it's not a mask/hair combo - I still don't actually have a Kanan with brown hair.  Mine has got the original black hair that came with the Ghost when it was first released.

Well at least the part for Kanan's hairpiece exists. We don't actually have one with the mask yet. In all probability it's going to be the mask molded with the hair, like Jyn's helmet and her her hair.

Now I'm thinking about grabbing Kanan's speeder bike..

Pretty sure it will be molded together - hopefully they updated his face, including the typical Jedi beard. I fear for every Rebels design - nearly every figure or set was wrong in colour/shape etc. Even the Ezras last version still used the wrong colours (dark tan) & didn't receive a new faceprint. For Emmet they gave us multiple facial expressions to collect oO

That's great! I think haveing two battle packs in one wave and another two in the next is really nice. Though I do like buying all my BP at the same time.

This isn't a leak, it's just info. Giving out specific set details / names / numbers are all damaging to TLG, that's a leak. Saying a type of set will exist is not a leak to me.

And no, I don't know what would be in this set either way, what its name is, etc.

That's great news! I expect that those would be Clone Wars or PT - Clones usually sell well, and with TFA + Rogue One + Battlefront battle packs available, everything else is well covered.

a) the early summer sets (like this year Encounter at Jakku, the blue/grey X-Wing), or

b) the late summer sets (like the Rogue One sets this year)

Fair enough as fall officially started last week.....other example: 'summer sets, like the Force Awakens sets in 2015' (they were released on september 4.....when it is still officially summer.

I'm pretty sure the BP won't be EP 8 because they will probably do another force Friday and the BP will be in 2018.  I'm interested in what these BP will be considering there's some more clones that can be made and there's more battlefront variations of troops that can be made.

Somebody here mentioned the idea of Jawas or Tusken Raiders. I think that lego with excepion of mandalorians, have not really exploited the opportunities of making battle packs that are non stormtroopers or rebels, such as ewok, wookie, jabba guards, geonsians, gungans, cloud city or naboo guards battle packs...

I just assembled the Rebel Alliance Battle Pack, and I'm wondering if LEGO will give the 2017 Boba Fett the new jetpack piece seen in these battle packs, or if they will continue to use the old piece (which still looks good).

Here's the new piece:



I can see how it could be used for Boba Fett, but it will need more than a 1x1 tile on that stud to make it work.

This old piece is still just fine for him (and other Mandalorians):



I expect them to continue using the standard jetpack (but I do hope that they give him arm printing, it would be a waste not to).

Anyways, just thinking out loud I guess.

Honestly I think the current piece is perfect.
