40000XX Series sets

Does anyone else collect this series? I have 5 from it, but saw they added 4000025 Jiaxing Factory this year. Very expensive sets to collect. Lego House and Billund Airport being 2 of the more accessible ones at least.

4000023 Jiaxing Factory

I couldn't find any info on the missing numbers so not sure those sets were made but the factory buildings are microsets. I would like to find 01, 02, 05, 09, 15 and 23.

Some of the ones missing from your list are listed in the Brickset database.

I have 4000010 LEGO House, 4000016 Billund Airport, and 4000020 H.C. Andersen's Clumsy Hans. I'm not interested in parting with them since they're souvenirs from the two trips I took to Billund last year. I haven't really attempted to obtain any of the others.

I don't collect these, but I saw 4000023 Jiaxing Factory on eBay a few weeks ago. The listing used set number 4000025 in the title, but the box shows that it is actually 400023.

I found 4000020 4000004 4000019 and 4000000 on Brickset. 4000020 is particularly pricey. 4000019 and 4000020 are apparently unavailable from Bricklink or eBay.

When you get rare sets like this do you build or keep them in the box?

I build them, Lego House and Billund Airport weren't too bad, got them at around $60 US, the other three, were around $150-$200 each. I would always build them personally, the boxes are just like architecture series. I like the sets, but would likely just stick to the factory builds and the moulding machine if I could get them. There are some on ebay but they are priced high. I would guess Jiaxing would be around the $150-200 range right now if only I could find one.

Yes, but only the "Inside Tour" sets and I don't have to have the originals.

Lego has put up 4000015. But not 4000009 on their website

Here is a little update from my side. I'm still waiting on a bricklink order to complete them, but you get the idea. I currently have the Kladno 2015 tile on the 4000006 but when I proceed with the others, this will be corrected.
