As Captain Liam led the procession across the bridge, Peter lost his breath as the vast wall loomed over him. Eric grinned. "Never seen anything so huge, i'd wager." Peter didn't respond. He was lost in a trance, completely overwhelmed from the sight of the wall. "Welcome to Farrveil Fortress," captian Liam grumbled ahead of them. "Once he see some of the castles of Kaliphilin, he'll probably drop down dead," muttered a soldier to Eric. The gates slowly opened, allowing the troop access to the vast interior. "Peter!" Captian Liam commanded, "Follow Eric to the barracks, where you'll await your assignment." Peter did as he was told. Eric led him to a darker part of the town, into the barracks. They seemed decently well kept, though Peter didn't notice this. He went straight to sit down and think about everything that had hapopened. Taken from his own home! This was unthinkable. The family would be fine, his daughter wasn't really sick, he had said that just to avoid going with Liam. "Get some sleep," Eric suggested, "you'll have a long day ahead of you tomorrow."

Comments appreciated, also, I'd like to submit this for the 5th avalonian task.

That's a really good build! the water and dens vegetation add to the Avalonian feeling, while the building uses a lot of very good techniques, especially the roof!

Very nice towers, and great build overall! I love those small islets in front of the fortress :classic:

Some photography advice would be to cover up the arrow slits from behind (e.g. with some black bricks) to avoid the background to shine through and also to back the camera away at least another meter and zoom in instead. Right now, the camera seems to have been very close to the build which led to the front of the build becoming huge compared to the rest of the build. This "perspective distortion" is remedied by moving the camera away and zooming in. For closeups, how you place your camera will depend on which perspective you are looking for, if you want to empasize one fig and make the background smaller it is of course good to have the camera close, but for blurring the background and emphasizing the figs that way the more zoom you use the more background blur (less depth-of-field) you get.

Looks good, I think the two towers linked by the arch should be 2 studs further apart, the gap a the moment is too tall and narrow.

Very nice feel to this build. The water part looks great with the rockwork and vegetation. The architecture is well done as well. Good job!

Pretty build! I love the islands here, especially the one with the tower. The gate doors also look big and formidable. Hope to see more of this story and Farrveil Fortress!

Also, overall, the photography is good, but I definitely second Gideon's suggestions. His advice has helped me greatly, and surely many others, in perfecting photography and presentation.

Anyways, keep it up Asad!
