LuxorV Posted December 13, 2007 Posted December 13, 2007 Ok, since we have this new section, I think it's the right time to resurrect some old custom creations. Here are two characters from the Lost In Space movie (1998): William Hurt ... Prof. John Robinson Matt LeBlanc ... Maj. Don West A view with Robor R-9 (I should work a little more on this... :-$ ) Gallery Torsos: Prof. Robinson - Maj. West - Stasis suit Enjoy and comment, please :-$ . LuxorV Quote
Siegfried Posted December 13, 2007 Posted December 13, 2007 That is great work! *sweet* You have capture the design very well... but I have to ask why? That has to be one of the most disapointing movies of all time... :'-( Quote

That has to be one of the most disapointing movies of all time... :'-( Well, just because I *wub* West's retractable (is this the word 8-| ?) armour and R-9 ;-) And I'm fond of films with good special effects. At least, untill the plot isn't totally garbage :-X LuxorV Quote

At least, untill the plot isn't totally garbage :-X LuxorV I loved the first half... but once they landed on the planet it all went to custard and generally made no sense. But it had a lot of good work in it. I liked the fighters and the robot especially. While on that subject, I like your robot as well! *sweet* Probably a tad too tall though... (Retractable is a good enough word. ;-) ) Quote

I know; I should rebuild it sometime: now I have new ideas and more suitable pieces :-$ As for robot, expect to glimpse one 'Special' in 2 days (I'll add nothing more, for now) ;-) LuxorV Quote
AzMean Posted December 13, 2007 Posted December 13, 2007 cool! Love the minifigs! they look exactly like the real characters. I just find the robot a bit too round and too skeletal at the bottom area. Quote
dunamis Posted December 13, 2007 Posted December 13, 2007 I loved the first half... but once they landed on the planet it all went to custard and generally made no sense. I agree! The movie had so much going for it until the second half and it all went to crap... Nice work on the minfigs. Quote
