hollisbrick Posted December 12, 2007 Posted December 12, 2007 (edited) Ok guys after reading a thread Grevious's thread about lego (and search for a topic like this) i was wondering what the best your best year for lego? whether it be the quality was better or because it was a good child hood experiance ect. Now I know that there night of been a topic like this but i couldnt find any and if they did i bet they didnt have a fancy poll like this one :-P anyway guys after about a week of this i'll close then we'll norrow it down to the best year of lego, so start voting! I'd have to say my best year of Lego has been this last year that I stepped out of my.... >:-) dark ages >:-).... So this year has been my best! *sweet* Quote

zz-80 Posted December 13, 2007 Posted December 13, 2007 Tough question, I'd say 1989... because Space Police I came out that year (beautifully designed ships + these cool trans red cockpits = influenced and enhanced my MOCs), some very nice castle sets were released and the city things are also wonderful and of course: Pirates! (Oh and you were still able to buy some of the cool '88 sets, like Blacktron... :-D) Best decade could be from 1983-1993... but I'm not so sure, '93 was the beginning of my dark age. WW is something I've also been waiting for... Of course as a SW lover, everything starting from '99 was great too, but I chose '89 because nearly all sets - regardless of theme - were pretty nice. TheFrisian Posted December 13, 2007 Posted December 13, 2007 I think I have to agree with Zz-80, lots of great themes and sets were released that year. Still, the past year has been a good one as far as Castle is concerned, and next year also looks very promising. Quote
