Spot the LEGO mistake!

The image below is a scan of one of the pages from a desktop calendar issued by a firm of Loss Adjusters we use at where I work. Their theme for 2008 is famous brands - and LEGO features in April. This is the second page.

Can you spot the mistake?

Actually, there may even be more than one...

I have actually drawn this error to the attention of a Senior Manager at the firm, but he didn't take me seriously!

Oh, AND I pointed out that LEGO should always be capitalised - he didn't believe me there either.

The Lego Bricks are actually some clones, as lego doesnt make bricks in those colours, and the "Lego man" isnt a Offical lego fig, but a fan made one. Also TLC began as a company making furniture. There are some more I think.

It doesn't say it's made BY lego, but made OF lego.

So that isn't a mistake.

About the bricks, yes that's a mistake! No lego writings on the studs, but nothing wrong with the colors. Purple and pink bricks are real.

The story, well i don't know but on a i thought it started with wooden toys, not plastic ones.

Oh that one, i saw it in real. I don't remember what the torso says, i can't read it on this angel.

But i'm not sure if that thing is really from lego, or just for fun.

It does say "Lego brick design" not actual Lego bricks to be fair.

I noticed at first glance something wasn't right about those bricks... just horrible!!! That's quite a big mistake to make when you're doing an article on LEGO!

I've heard in the beginning of Lego, Lego bricks didn't have the word, "Lego" printed on it. By the way hewkii9, is that signature stickmen from Pivot?

What a poorly made piece. I don't even agree with their summary; the success of LEGO ;-) is a lot more complicated than what they make out. :-|
