Sir Stig Posted April 1, 2016 Posted April 1, 2016 (edited) I am just setting up my collection now for a photo, we don't mind if my Kaliphlin army joins for the photo op, right? I figure I should be making about 450 DBs, well maybe more, we are OKing werewolves, vampires, Puppy Monkey Babies? I must remind you of one of the rules: "Minifigures used more than once (such as your sig-fig) may only be registered once."So I think you need to customize all of them, if you think that is worth 0.15 a pop (Yeah, I did not see the . the first time, so I thought it was a hoax). Btw: . <- How small is that? For all us that need glasses, but seldom remembers to use them, could you please use the format 0.XX when dealing with decimals below 1. Legostone Posted April 1, 2016 Posted April 1, 2016 (edited) If I'm using a character from another player (I've used the Maxims captain of the Knight of Stedor for example) can we get that one to count too? Also, as the crews on my fleet constantly mix - can I count the crew new every time or do I have to check if I haven't used that figure as a crew member before? Counting like this I currently count 51 unique minifigs in my builds - so 7.65 DBs. Edited April 1, 2016 by Legostone Quote

Sorry about that. 92 minifigs in my builds so far, times 0.15 = 13.8, but we'll say 14, right? Quote
kabel Posted April 1, 2016 Posted April 1, 2016 oh crap. why am I not using all the figs I've got? Quote
Vedauwoo Posted April 1, 2016 Posted April 1, 2016 Well, if it is fer real...here's mine...I can always use extra DBs....... : A new Arrival in Bastion.... - 3 Moonraker Sail Company - 5 Le Dindon - 2 The Father and the son... - 2 A Wonderful Machine - 7 Casualties of the Storm - 2 No one expects the Olean Inquisition - 12 The Bastion Otchet - 1 Far Horizons Salvage and Shipworks - 6 Antigone's Fury - 7 Leaving Granolean - 1 A Beacon in the Night - 1 A Shanty by the Sea - 0 A Powerful Friend - 2 Outside of Belson - 0 Brotherhood of the Red Dragon - 12 63 * 0.15 = 9.45 Quote
Kolonialbeamter Posted April 1, 2016 Posted April 1, 2016 Still busy counting my Army of Colonial Minions Quote
SkaForHire Posted April 2, 2016 Posted April 2, 2016 Might want check again Ska. /cough cough >:) Go figure, somebody finally used the raid mechanism and I did not bother to check, just assuming that no one would ever use it! Yes, rumors of a settlement raid are abound. Using the old rules... which were much more dangerous and lucrative... Hmmm I think you just persuaded me to do the MRCA tonight instead of writing more dissertation... but that could also be procrastination. It really depends on how much beer I have available and if it will last that many hours hahaha. Quote
The Sarge Posted April 2, 2016 Posted April 2, 2016 So what brand of beer does Poseidon, god of the sea wish to have sacrificed to him to favor our ships? Quote
Vedauwoo Posted April 2, 2016 Posted April 2, 2016 (edited) I shall imbibe the Nectar of Hefe-Weizen in support of Ska's efforts! Пиво And if I run out of those...I have one Grodziskie left..... Edited April 2, 2016 by Vedauwoo Quote
Elostirion Posted April 2, 2016 Posted April 2, 2016 So no April's fools here? Damn, I will really have to start counting minifigs now. :-) Quote
Sir Stig Posted April 2, 2016 Posted April 2, 2016 -snip- Also, for real, mayors should update their settlement page with what builds are licensed, and at what level. This makes it obvious to everyone what is in the settlement, and nobody will have to go digging. You can use the query tool (wait we released that right?) to do this pretty quickly. -snip- Where do I find this query tool? Quote
Captain Green Hair Posted April 2, 2016 Posted April 2, 2016 I can't count actually, is there another way to do this? Quote
Bregir Posted April 2, 2016 Posted April 2, 2016 As to calculating town bank: "Every property built within a settlement gives the town bank 5 DB per month." - Is this only licensed properties? And: "When a settlement becomes a city, it will also receive 5 DB per month for every property in its hinterland (area surrounding the city)." - How does one define what is in the settlement, and what is in its hinterland? Quote
Kai NRG Posted April 2, 2016 Author Posted April 2, 2016 So no April's fools here? Damn, I will really have to start counting minifigs now. :-) Actually.... April Fools! Stop counting minifigures. That is the only April fools joke, however. The rest is for real. For those of you who fell for it, however, we will reward you with the DBs you "earned". (Obviously that does not include myself as I didn't really fall for it. ) Where do I find this query tool? The query tool (whatever that is, I had never heard of it before) has not been released yet. Behind the scenes we are working on making everything automatic. Once that is complete, it should be possible to release a viewable version of the sheets so players can find statistics easily. If I'm using a character from another player (I've used the Maxims captain of the Knight of Stedor for example) can we get that one to count too? Also, as the crews on my fleet constantly mix - can I count the crew new every time or do I have to check if I haven't used that figure as a crew member before? Counting like this I currently count 51 unique minifigs in my builds - so 7.65 DBs. Just noticed that I missed this before... not that it matters now... but anyways, if you were using another player's character it wouldn't have counted (because the other person would have used it first), but since the crew members don't technically have characters (that is, they aren't supposed to be the same person) they would have counted. Captain Braunsfeld Posted April 2, 2016 Posted April 2, 2016 Does the special rule "monkey inclusion in MOC = +5 db" still apply? Quote
Elostirion Posted April 2, 2016 Posted April 2, 2016 Actually.... April Fools! However, in case anyone is interested, here is a list of currently 231 of the characters used in BoBS so far. Feel free to add missing ones if you have some spare time. Quote
dr_spock Posted April 2, 2016 Posted April 2, 2016 Is there a die roll for settlement is too drunk to repel the raiders? Quote
Umbra-Manis Posted April 2, 2016 Posted April 2, 2016 Is there a die roll for settlement is too drunk to repel the raiders? I think that only happens when the sea rats get raided, or Bregir throws a party. Quote

kaiju Posted April 2, 2016 Posted April 2, 2016 Lol! Best joke ever if one can walk away with a small bonus for "falling for it" But do we get to round up the decimal point though? :p True, it definitely is one of the less offensive pranks. Though next time you might want to work on your time zones. Some of us were rapidly approaching April 2nd when we saw this. Quote

gedren_y Posted April 3, 2016 Posted April 3, 2016 I nearly asked if the characters had to be named. I may do an accounting of the characters I've created in the Eslandola thread. Quote
Vedauwoo Posted April 3, 2016 Posted April 3, 2016 Quick question.....have the "approval" bonus dubloons been rewarded for FB 3+ that were posted since the beginning of the game? Just looking over my speadsheet and I have nothing entered for them yet. For that matter, perhaps we really need a player to volunteer to be the "bank" or "registrar" to at least give us a check on our actual balance once a month or so.....or perhaps this could be done "on request" to verify a player's numbers. I know I suck at keeping track of my bank acct. in real life, I can't imagine I'll be much better in game...lol Quote
