Nice! Do you guys in the US have "bag-feeling partners"? I mean, when I go shopping for the blind bags, I'm always the only one feeling them, I don't know why. It must be a bit uncomfortable to have people next to you doing the same thing?

There's always a group of AFOLs on release day at the Lego store feeling through bags. People do share what bags they have identified so it helps to expedite the process of finding a complete set. On occasions that I went through bags at other retailers, I've never been self conscious and could care less what passerby think.

I have been to a LEGO store where the staff help you to find the bags you're after whether you want their help or not! It's actually quite annoying because you either have to trust them without really knowing if they're any good at feeling bags or insult them by checking the bags they think they've identified. I'd rather not be in that situation.

I usually go to a store where I'm the only one feeling bags and prefer it that way. Sometimes, the staff are after particular minifigures too and ask for my help. On one occasion, the manageress gave me one free as a thank you. :sweet:

I see that there are sellers on eBay and BrickLink that have entire, unopened boxes of CMFs for sale. How do these sellers go about acquiring these? Do they buy them direct from Lego? Do they get lucky and stumble into a TRU or Lego Store before the box has been opened for the public?

I ask because I would be interested in purchasing an entire box of Disney CMFs, but am unsure of how to proceed.... ?

Any help would be much appreciated, and I apologize in advance if this question is not appropriate.

Just called my Target in NY and this super nice lady told me to call tomorrow and do a "Guest Pull" with the DPCI, because she said they're at their off-site warehouse. She told me that when they call to tell me if the figures arrive to ask if the bag is Disney Themed. Wish me luck!

i also prefer to be a sole feeler where possible. means i can concentrate and not have to make polite chitchat that distracts. one store has the bags up the lego aisle, and i often go in after 5pm when its quieter. usually the security guard does at least one walk by, lol. another store has them at the counter, and i feel self concious there, but have felt with 100% accuracy once i was able to block out the staff members watching.

looking forward to getting these down in nz, though like coopa i think we will be waiting a while longer yet. i was going to get a box, but cant afford it so will go for one set, and maybe look at the D2C when we know more about it.

Just scored a complete set today from my local Fred Meyer in Portland, OR. They had about six full boxes on display.

The Fred Meyer on N Interstate and Lombard. Boxes were on the top shelf of the Lego aisle when I was there -- almost didn't see them. Good luck!

What do you mean? Like being released with the upcoming series 16? This is due out in May and it will be the new minifigure series until September.

Will series 15 still be available with the Disney series?

Does it make it easier to find or it not worth wasting the time feeling for those rather then feeling for parts?

the bump codes are only right if its from the same factory as the list your looking t

I usually just use the bump codes as a back-up. I'll feel the packs, settle on a pack I think is the figure I want, and then check bump codes just to be sure. It's just a nice reassurance if you see that the bumps match up after you've felt the pack - you'll know for certain then that it's the one you were looking for.

Found some in White Plains, NY, but I only managed to get 8. There were 5 others, all dupes. No other Target in my area has them, and neither do my local mom and pop shops.

Also, they were only $3.39 at my Target, so yay?

I've had perfect success packet-feeling since Series 3 of the regular line, while I can barely tell where the bumps are supposed to be, so I don't bother with the bumps. It does take a while to packet-feel, though.

Whoa! I'll have to check out Target, I guess.

I noticed that on Brickseek, every store had that. I hope it was that way Saturday, I didn't notice, that's when I got the Disney set.
