I was asking if that may be helpfull for the comunity?

Here's a template for the French troops ready to print. It contains:

Generals: Napoleon, Murat, Marshall,

Infantry

Cavallry

Artillery

French Army

Here's a PDF for printing as A4:

- print it on a colour printer

-- for first test you can use normal paper

-- use finest quality

- use tixo to protect the decals

- cut them

- and glue them on the torso

The idea is to have some further sheets: british, Lego Imperials, Austrians, ...

Please beware, the actual one is only an example not really ready but for discussion!!

I'm assuming I want to make French troops so my boys have something to shoot at? No doubt that is the real evil scheme behind the mind of our Happsberg compatriot. X-D

Unfortunately outside of Bonaparte's army I don't think there are many French left, they all got killed off by the paintings of Tiny Pies. At any rate it's nice to see some Austrian troops, I'd like to see some specialised Austrian MOC's because too many don't realise that the Happsbergs were the real masters of Europe prior to Napolean and the gradual rise of the British, who in any event are more interested in ruling the waves than Europe.

People today look too much at the last century and the strength and dominance of Germany and tend to look at Austria only by it's association to Germany rather than appreciating that for many centuries in Europe it was the dominant kingdom of Germanic culture and the next best thing was Prussia.

Okay, I've gone off topic for this forum... Sorry folks, but thought it worth throwing in my soap box moment for the day. Woody, perhaps you could give us an idea of a distinctive Austrian sub-theme, what would be the name of their capital fort? The names of their commanders? Obviously they aren't much of an influence in the Caribbean but it's still pertinant to the era.

This is very handy.

I just need to print this page, start cutting and glueing to build myself an Austrian army.

You certainly do a lot to promote Austria, you should be the Eurobricks ambassador for Austria *sweet*

In my mind I'm so identifying you with the Austrians that I didn't even notice the word "French" in your post :-D

Or I might just need to sleep....

And here's the template to build the minifigs, oncemore French :-)

For my generator I would need a photo where I can cut the hussar hat (the one build from tires). Does anybody have such a photo available ...
