RupeeClock Posted December 7, 2007 Posted December 7, 2007 What do we get today? This is a nice topic, and every day a interesting surprise. - RupeeClock Quote
Mr Hobbles Posted December 10, 2007 Posted December 10, 2007 Thanks for doing this! I think Im going to pick one up after the holidays once they go on sale to clear the remaining stock. Any further updates? :-) Quote
Eothein Posted December 10, 2007 Posted December 10, 2007 Cool idea although I still feel guilty about opening all my boxes sometime ago in November, it kinda beats the point of owning the Advent Calander. Still what's a boy to do; let a new Lego set go to waste? :-P Quote
UniqueBuilder Posted December 10, 2007 Author Posted December 10, 2007 Any further updates? :-) I'll try to do it today, but these mid-term tests and all that is getting on my nerves.. *wacko* Quote
Brainbox Posted December 11, 2007 Posted December 11, 2007 Hmm, I appear to have a bit of a backlot to discuss, my computer's been a bit temperamental lately. That said, I can't remember which day I last commented on, so I'll just skip ahead to today. So, the second set of the harbour theme. Pretty nice actually. But I have to ask, what happened to the ridiculous numbers of spare pieces? We've not had many recently. Quote

UniqueBuilder Posted January 10, 2008 Author Posted January 10, 2008 I just got mine delvered today. (1/2 price from LSAH).............I love it! I'm just sorry I missed out on the daily anticipation! Well... You didn't miss out on much. :-| I kinda ran out of time with those midterm tests and all that.. And suddenly it was christmas. *wacko* Quote
Tiger Posted January 10, 2008 Posted January 10, 2008 (edited) I just got mine delvered today. (1/2 price from LSAH).............I love it! I'm just sorry I missed out on the daily anticipation! I'm going to buy one as soon as I can get my hand on my dads credit card. But my parents both think that I'm getting too old for Lego (NOT TRUE) so it will probably be my last set for a few months. Which means no Indy or Coast Guard... |-/ Some of the mini-sets are bleh, but I can't pass up 8 figs for 12$. Edited January 10, 2008 by Tiger Quote
Brickulator Posted January 10, 2008 Posted January 10, 2008 Ah, well. It was a nice idea, UB. But I followed Chris Doyle's reviews myself, and I like it how this year he'd tied the advent comic in with RC. Quote
