iamded Posted November 28, 2007 Posted November 28, 2007 I started on a small troop transport vehicle for the Necrobots, but couldn't figure out how to add the wheels. So, I took the cheap way out and use a Rock Raiders vehicle base. :-P Still, I think it doesn't look too bad. :-/ The Intimidator can transport a small amount of Necrobot troops, as well as ram through barricades and troops, and supply support fire in combat. Mounted on the roof is a small anti-personal machine gun. The left weapon is similar to that of the Necrobot Anti-personal Infantry's rifle. A laser guide is attached to provide more accuracy. Well, actually it more just alerts the enemy that a weapon is pointing at them. But hey, the guy who made it is insane, cut him some slack. This is weapon slot is empty when the vehicle is not in use, but when a Necrobot Heavy Infantry takes control, it places it's weapon in here, granting the machine a heavy missile-like attack. The front of the Intimidator. The sight of this, along with the growling of the engine and beams of plasma blasting towards them caused the troops to nickname this the 'Intimidator'. The back of the machine. The gate offers protection to the troops inside, however the side is pretty much unarmoured. The controls. An overview of the machine with the crew. Comments and criticism welcome! ~Peace Quote
Batbrick Posted November 28, 2007 Posted November 28, 2007 This is great iamded, I looked at it at first and thought it was little until I noticed the rockraider wheels and realised it was big! X-O The front maw design is great, and the cockpit is very appropriate *y* The back gate looks sinple but very cool, can we have a shot of it closed? I actually like how the sides are less protected, make it more post-apocy (apocy? *wacko* ) and a bit more sparse on materials on the Necrobots side. My criticisms lay firstly with the defense gun, which is good, but doesn't look much like a gun, mainly because the barrells are too small ;-) My other criticism is the grey at the sides of the front, which kind of are out of place with the rest of the black cockpit and teeth. These are minor gripes, and overallI love this beast! *wub* its so Badass! >:-) I can't say how much I love this post-apoc world of yours iamded, partly because its my favourite theme but mostly because the great spin you've put on it! *y* To the Brickmobile! >:-) Quote
iamded Posted November 28, 2007 Author Posted November 28, 2007 Thanks man! I actually put those white grills on the side as I originally planned it to have a lot more white, make it look more bony, but I kind of took another direction. :-P As for the barrel being too small, it's the same size as the anti-personal Necrobot's weapon, it's supposed to be more rifle like than cannon like. I keep forgetting this is post-Apoc, and I built my MOCs like I would normally. :-$ I'll get a shot of the gate up tomorrow. ~Peace Quote

To the Brickmobile! >:-) Quote
LuxorV Posted November 28, 2007 Posted November 28, 2007 (edited) Great work here, Iamded 8- Edited November 28, 2007 by LuxorV Quote
Asuka Posted November 28, 2007 Posted November 28, 2007 A pretty decent work, compact with a very solid feel and a great looking front section! *y* Quote
iamded Posted November 28, 2007 Author Posted November 28, 2007 Thanks Asuka and LuxorV! Missiles, of course! I'll change the barrel, and add in missiles, and post it later. Right now I have to go to school... X-D Batbrick, the grey bit is part of the vehicle baseplate, unless I'm mistaken again. I would show you a pic of it but I don't have the time right now. ~Peace, and I'll be back later! Quote
ExoBuilder Posted November 28, 2007 Posted November 28, 2007 I like it Iamded! I have many of those pieces...I may build one of those. *y* *y* Quote
steelharbingerofdeath Posted November 28, 2007 Posted November 28, 2007 (edited) very nice i like the overall look it looks very insectoid (not the lego theme of course :-D ) but on your necro-bots why not use exo-force bot arms in white to look better armoured? (if you want) steel... Edited November 28, 2007 by steelharbingerofdeath Quote
Lt. Veers Posted November 28, 2007 Posted November 28, 2007 Wow! I still can't believe skeletons can be used in sci-fi! Quote
iamded Posted November 29, 2007 Author Posted November 29, 2007 Thanks Exo-builder59! :-D steelharbinger, thanks to you too! But as for the armoured arms, I think I'll stick with the skellie ones, so it doesn't look too robotic. *sweet* And Lt. Veers, I'll take that as a compliment. :-D X-D Now, the requested pics and modifications... I've upgraded the weapon to pack more punch. Here's that pic of the gates closed you wanted, Batbrick. :-) Nothing really detailed, don't have enough spare parts for greebles. :-/ A side view, turned out darker than I expected but it gives you a general idea of the shape. And a top view, with troops and weapons in place. As an extra note, the windscreen can partially open, but is now how the driver gets in. From the top view it only opens enough for you to see the controls. Thanks for looking! ~Peace Quote
MicVash Posted November 29, 2007 Posted November 29, 2007 My favorite part is the teeth! That does look menacing! Quote
