Governor Mister Phes Posted May 26, 2005 Governor Posted May 26, 2005 This is a technical point here. Darth Vader is no longer Anakin Skywalker... That old indenty when out the window mid Episode III. Completely blasted out of existence when he got his new suit. Anyone with the appropriate height and stature could portray Darth Vader in his suit and helmet, and probably what's left of him without it. However, if we're portraying Anakin Skywalker as he appeared before his epic duel with Obi Wan, then we would be getting to see more of Ani. But if its post that event then we would be getting to see more of Vadie. Does that make sense? Quote
snefroe Posted May 26, 2005 Author Posted May 26, 2005 i think lucas will use flashbacks to give ani's/vader's life more substance. these flashbacks will probably be seen through the eyes of a third person, not vader/ani... but a fighter pilot, a friend,... who knows... Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted May 26, 2005 Governor Posted May 26, 2005 Lucas doesn't appear to be highly skilled at bringing substance to his characters though... Quote
Wolf04 Posted May 26, 2005 Posted May 26, 2005 But you have to admit, he's got a great imagination. I mean Star Wars? Who would have thought of that? The TV show will be between EPIII and EPIV and he said it will be based on minor characters but who? All the Jedis are dead, all that's left is Yoda and Ben and they're "separated". Maybe we'll see young Leia and Luke? Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted May 26, 2005 Governor Posted May 26, 2005 Ahhhhhhh... But how great is it? He gets other people to draw his designs for him. Then he picks and chooses the elements of the sketches he likes best and the artists eventually come up with a design he's satisfied with. So its not like he does it all by himself. As for the story... Well all storie have already been told apparently. He's just combining several and telling them in a new way. He's admitted that himself. But you could say he is a visionary of sorts and has made contribution to film history. For better or for worse. Quote
Wolf04 Posted June 13, 2005 Posted June 13, 2005 Boba Fett in Star Wars TV Series? Source: USA Today June 13, 2005 USA Today got a hint from George Lucas at his AFI lifetime achievement award gala about the new live-action "Star Wars" TV series. The series is expected to take place sometime between "Episode III" and "Episode IV". Ford was approached by Daniel Logan, 18, who played young Boba Fett in Episode II: Attack of the Clones. Lucas said Logan's character may be included in his live-action Star Wars TV series, which is in the works. IESB.net also chatted with Lucas who said they are getting ready to go on the 3D half-hour version of the Clone Wars animated series is. "The live action will be, you know, a year or two later," he added. Asked if we're going to see some back stories, like Knights of the Old Republic, in the series, Lucas said, "there is a possibility of that, but not in this series. You know, there's a possibility of more series if these work." Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted June 14, 2005 Governor Posted June 14, 2005 Ford was approached by Daniel Logan Mr Wolf! Where did you come from? You seem to have vanished there for a while. Excellent work on the report. But who is Ford? Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted June 14, 2005 Governor Posted June 14, 2005 Ah yes that would be the most obvious explaination, but... Why would Daniel Logan approach Harrison Ford? Harrison Ford has no relevance to the rest of the story whatsoever. Quote
Wolf04 Posted June 14, 2005 Posted June 14, 2005 For disappearing, well exams are in one week (I have 2 in exactly 1 week) and no offense to the Eurobricks admins but the forum is kind of boring but I still stop by once in a while to check out news and report any new stuff. As for Daniel Logan approaching Harrison Ford, well maybe Han Solo may be seen in the series. Since it deals with side characters, we may see the creation of the MF and how Han Solo came about. Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted June 15, 2005 Governor Posted June 15, 2005 But how could Harrison Ford appear in a prequel series? He's in his 60's now and is turning into a wrinkled old man. That just wouldn't word. If it was series set 20 years after Return of the Jedi, that would be justifiable. But as for Daniel Logan approaching? It does go anywhere with that! It doesn't say why he approached Ford, or where they were, or what the pretenses were. Is there a bit missing? For disappearing, well exams are in one week (I have 2 in exactly 1 week) and no offense to the Eurobricks admins but the forum is kind of boring but I still stop by once in a while to check out news and report any new stuff. Wolf04 Posted September 19, 2005 Posted September 19, 2005 Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith hits DVD on November 1 and the New York Post talked to George Lucas about what kind of deleted scenes we can expect. "Most are Senatorial in nature," Lucas said, "Some are about the conspiracy, in terms of starting the Rebel Alliance. But mostly there's lots of beautiful costumes!" He also talked a bit more about the "Star Wars" TV show, which is in the works along with a new animated "Clone Wars" series. "There will be a live-action show, but I don't know if it'll be in 2006," he says. "I haven't even started writing the script. It's all minor, minor characters. It's not the Skywalker story at all - that's going on in another part of the galaxy." Quote
