iamded Posted November 27, 2007 Posted November 27, 2007 (edited) I wanted to make a 'before' scene for my post-Apoc scene, and I wanted someone doing the lawns. But that would mean I'd have to take it apart, and I didn't want that. So I used the mower in a vignette instead! Here we see a Hunter doing some chores, in this case mowing the lawn. :-D Here's a shot from another angle. But who is it doing the lawns? Another generic Hunter member? No, it's Batbrick! But why? Well, maybe you should check here... Teach him to threaten me with a mech... >:-( :-P Oop, you'll have to pick up that mess before you mow there! Bone shards can be very dangerous, you could accidentally step on one, like a prickle. 8-| :-P And here's Batbrick with the mower. Any suggestions on how to improve the mower would be appreciated. X-D And, as always, comments and criticism are welcome and appreciated. *sweet* ~Peace Edited May 9, 2008 by imperialshadows Quote
ExoBuilder Posted November 27, 2007 Posted November 27, 2007 (edited) I hope that is his yard he's mowing, never trust someone with a name like batbrick to mow your own lawn. ------------------------------------------------------ I like this, I really do!! Good job on the mower! 2 *y* up! Why is Batbrick wearing your clothes?.... Edited November 27, 2007 by Exo-builder59 Quote
Batbrick Posted November 27, 2007 Posted November 27, 2007 (edited) Why me? :'-( :-P That is a very ingenious construction for the mower iamded! 8- Edited November 27, 2007 by Batbrick Quote
iamded Posted November 27, 2007 Author Posted November 27, 2007 Exo-builder59, Thanks for the feedback! It's not really my lawn, it's just kind of the area where we fight the Necrobots most. We like to keep it tidy. :-D Batbrick, Even? Oh, no, not yet! I've got more chores for you to do! >:-) When you're done mowing the lawns, I want you to pick up all the bones lying around and put them nicely away. Dave can help. :-D More chores for Batbrick. Don't worry, he's getting a helping hand! An overview of the wee scene. Comments & criticism welcome. *sweet* ~Peace Quote
ExoBuilder Posted November 27, 2007 Posted November 27, 2007 I'll do chores if you pay me......in :-D LEGO :-D Quote
Batbrick Posted November 28, 2007 Posted November 28, 2007 Who's Dave? *wacko* Anyway, are we even now? I love the idea of multiple scenes on a single vignette, and this one has the space used very effectively! *y* If there is any criticism on the mower you want, mine would be on the colour and motor. Perhaps a little splash of red, and another rounded 2x2 plate stacked would look better to create a more real mower with a motor ;-) Apart from that I think its perfect! *sweet* But hey, even if I do have to d these chores, atleast we get to kill Necrobot scum eh? X-D To the Brickmobile! >:-) Quote
ExoBuilder Posted November 28, 2007 Posted November 28, 2007 I was wondering who Dave was too, is he someone we should know about? Quote
Clonecommando007 Posted November 28, 2007 Posted November 28, 2007 Wow! That's pretty nice; the vignette itself is quite simple, but I like your lawn mower design. Quote
iamded Posted November 28, 2007 Author Posted November 28, 2007 Thanks Clonecommando007! Dave is just a random name I gave to the other generic guy. :-P Batbrick, we could be even... unless I think of more chores. :-P ~Peace Quote

X-O *sing* Anyway, I like this Dave, I actually have a small obsession with generic characters, especially ones like Bond henchmen, Stormtroopers, and the guy who played Nameless Guard #3 after the credits! :-D Do you plan on making more of these, archenemy-turned-team-mate? To the Brickmobile! >:-) Quote

iamded Posted November 30, 2007 Author Posted November 30, 2007 Dang bulls... Anywho, I have made a vignette of Batbrick and a vacuum cleaner. Sure, it's no where near as good as the one posted earlier, but hey, not all of the Hunters equipment is shiny and new! This one was made from scrap and R2-D2. :-P And I don't have any of those pipe tube things, so I had to improvise... Anywho, we'll see it shortly, I just have to find the end of the vacuum cleaner that fell off into a pile of Lego just as I was about to photograph it. |-/ ~Peace Quote

iamded Posted November 30, 2007 Author Posted November 30, 2007 (edited) Next vig/more chores time! :-D This time Batbrick has to vacuum! Here comes Batbrick, about to start vacuuming. We made a sailboat statue, in honour of, er, someone, (Can ya guess? :-P ) but now it appears to be used for a hat rack! Dave, you better hope Hinckley doesn't see that! (Remember, Dave is the generic Hunter guy.) Dave wants to watch TV, but Batbrick claims he has to do the vacuuming. But Dave's favourite show's about to start! But if Batbrick doesn't do the cleaning, then who will? What? iamded? No! Get back to work! :-P And another angle showing the TV. Those red lights are... uh... LED's! It's a fancy TV. :-P (I couldn't find any TV bricks so I opted for a brick built one. X-D ) And the downgraded R2-D2 vacuum cleaner. Comments and criticism welcome. *sweet* ~Peace Edited November 30, 2007 by iamded Quote
ExoBuilder Posted November 30, 2007 Posted November 30, 2007 I love this Iamded! I love it I love it! Stupid Dave is just sitting on his lazy butt while Batbrick odes all of the work! I told ou I'd post here first. Good job on the vig *y* *y* To the brickmob...oh wait, I don't say that! Quote
