Removing Printing on Trans Clear

Hello everyone,

I need to removed the printing from a trans clear canopy. I've read about using Brasso and Magic Eraser to do this for solid colored pieces, but will it work on clear without scratching or making the canopy cloudy?

I'd use a pink eraser and then wash it carefully. Brass is a metal polish and if you're not experienced with it you could damage the part. You only need a very tiny bit if you go that route.

Any plastic polish will work, but since Brasso is a metal polish, it works a little faster. There are many success stories using Brasso on plastics, but as The Sarge suggested, work carefully gaining your experience.

Clear acrylic floor polish (like Future Floor Polish) can help restore clarity to plastic, if you damage the part.
