ApophisV Posted April 28, 2005 Posted April 28, 2005 Yeah, I'd better buy the Clone Walker for 12 Euro and get a real minifig AND a complete walker! Quote
Vader Posted April 28, 2005 Posted April 28, 2005 Very true or if you only want a clone just buy from bricklink, you can get 2 red clones for around the same price. Quote
chewie Posted April 28, 2005 Posted April 28, 2005 true but i think i might get these cause i do not have a yoda or any of them really so.. Quote
Orlego Posted April 28, 2005 Posted April 28, 2005 I took a pic of my set and was just about to post it when I found that FBTB had beat me to it a few days ago. I purchased my set about a month ago when my store received a shipment (only 1 case). We sold out in a day and have not had anymore since. I would have posted it a month ago but you all know of my problems. Anyway, here is the pic... ~Orlego Quote
xwingyoda Posted April 28, 2005 Posted April 28, 2005 Thanks for the pic Orlego, this seems interesting. BTW guys, have you noticed, chrome sabers ;) Quote
jonfett Posted April 28, 2005 Posted April 28, 2005 Nice, do you think your store will be getting anymore? Just wondering, as Sarg_Kulo suggested, can the legs be removed seperate from the hips.. so that new (non-magnetic) legs can be put on?? Jon. Quote
Orlego Posted April 28, 2005 Posted April 28, 2005 Thanks for the pic Orlego, this seems interesting.BTW guys, have you noticed, chrome sabers Yeah, no ugly gray sabers in this set. Nice, do you think your store will be getting anymore? Yeah Jon, we should receive more any day now. There are two sets including one with Vader but we only received this set so far. Just wondering, as Sarg_Kulo suggested, can the legs be removed seperate from the hips.. so that new (non-magnetic) legs can be put on?? Yes. They are regular legs and can be removed (just not the part that connects the legs to the torso). Even with the magnets, I have had no problems using them in regular applications. The magnets are very small and are hard to see unless you pick them up and really try hard to find them. ~Orlego Quote

xwingyoda Posted April 28, 2005 Posted April 28, 2005 "flAME ALL LEGO FORUMS TO THEIR DOOM!!!" Thats really interesting lego2000. Thanks for sharing this powerfull insight on Lego magnets. Back on topic: actually the magnets can be very usefull if we had more different magnet sets: I'm thinking of a SW Lego chess board (easier with magnets than with plates) ;) Quote

jonfett Posted April 30, 2005 Posted April 30, 2005 I found 2 sets of these magnets on ebay. One set is Yoda, Anakin and Green Trooper (link) The other is Chewie, Vader and Obi-wan (link) I think I will wait until I find these somewhere else before buying them.
