Doctor Sinister Posted November 25, 2007 Posted November 25, 2007 With the imminent threat of invasion from our neighbours in bordering BestLockLand, our esteemed leader Emperor Eternal Mayor Doctor Sinister and what remains of the Tabletown Government has tasked Tabletown News to issue this important reminder of how to spot enemy spies and other subversive elements within our borders. Above, you see a typical representation of the current composition of the BestLockLand Revolutionary People Quote

maiq the liar Posted November 25, 2007 Posted November 25, 2007 Unfortunately my main enemies are the mega blocks that i put in my collection years back due to X-TREME misinformedness...But they are too deep in the purple bin in my closet to rat out in a single day... Quote

Lord Of Pies Posted November 25, 2007 Posted November 25, 2007 Thank you for this informative Poster Doc. S, the (happy go lucky) citizens of my town will be on look out for such agents. ;-) Quote
Lasse D Posted November 25, 2007 Posted November 25, 2007 This is absolutely brilliant Dr. Sinister! Many of us know these posters from the museums, and it really is a war going on between the brands. Quote
joseph-lowell Posted November 25, 2007 Posted November 25, 2007 i see on ebay there is a newer TECHNIC knockoff "TECHNICAL". Does anyone know if these come from the megablock manufactures? they seem to be ok looking most likley full of lead *wacko* *n* Quote
Lord Of Pies Posted November 25, 2007 Posted November 25, 2007 I think they come from a company called "enlighten", who make imitation Lego sets. Quote
Optikal Illushun Posted November 25, 2007 Posted November 25, 2007 haha, this is great. makes me wanna buy some bestlockblockcrap just to have a war between my Lego lads and them. X-D Quote
Siegfried Posted November 30, 2007 Posted November 30, 2007 Why wait for an invasion? Invade them now! Use your skele killer in the middle of their capital! You can count on the forces of Sinnerton to assist! :-P Quote

Lord Of Pies Posted November 30, 2007 Posted November 30, 2007 Dr S, your masterful MOCS will easily defeat any crappy Bestlock vehicles! Quote
Brickmaster Posted November 30, 2007 Posted November 30, 2007 I admit I bought a set of bestlock once, it was like 20 dollars for 600 some peices, a large tank, large apc, two buildings, an aircraft and a helicopeter, quite some years ago, I couldnt resist the chance, although it was some fun to play with they now reside in a bin that has not seen the light of day in years, either. The product quality is very noticeable, the blocks dont stay togeather all to well either really, but I guess theyre cheap army stuff atleast. Good thing? They came witha megablock load of weapons and oil drum barrels, sand bags, and other military utensils which I actually use! They are very nice actually, and the weapons work in minifig hands :-$ Although I dont reccomend them atall, I like to call myself a purist to lego but I couldnt resist this one temptation to weigh just how much better lego quality actually is :-X Quote

maiq the liar Posted December 2, 2007 Posted December 2, 2007 What stinks is my city is near-defenseless aside from... -2 firemen -Me -and a Annoying old war veteran who is mad at: a) Me, for not repairing his house and not investing in a police force, b) some Little punks who vandalised his house c) Pretty much everything else, the blasted old coot has 1 and a half mechanical legs! And i will never call him out because: A) He humiliates me every chance he gets B) He constantly nags about "his house" and the "Police force" C) He even publicly attacks me! Time to get some minute men i guess...Even though my display on a bookshelf city is safely on my bookshelf, so the city would get time to notice the Scum trying to creep up to the top shelf...and once i move it, it'll be even more secure...and there'll be more room so it can be a true city!! Lord Of Pies Posted December 2, 2007 Posted December 2, 2007 I say that we rid all our Lego collections of the Megabl@ks, break free of their blatant lies and propaganda, and defeat them once and for all!! Mwuahahahaha! *cough* Sorry about that. maiq the liar, my town was similar, however I am making my Blacktron I troops patrol the streets now. Quote
maiq the liar Posted December 2, 2007 Posted December 2, 2007 (edited) Well, we were working on a vehicle called "Iron Tank" (Iron Multipurpose vehicle in the LDD gallery) But the imposters managed to copy the design and even stole the blueprints to the ReplicaSys so now they can produce iron tanks too and even look like us! WARNING: TO THOSE ON VACATION TO ALBRICKUERQUE: Do not, under any circumstances, enter Red Iron Tanks! The impostors use red iron tanks, so only trust soldiers in blue ones!
