Although, it wouldn't surprise me that she would sing a song for the movie, it certainly isn't confirmed. Part of me is hankering for another trailer, just to see more of what the movie has in store. Of course, another part of me wants to keep as much of the movie from my eyes, so that I can better enjoy it in theaters. Quote
GentlemanJoker Posted November 24, 2016 Posted November 24, 2016 This seems like a better place to discuss this. So we know that the Wicked Witch, Flying Monkeys, Gremlins, a giant gorilla, and other giant monsters will appear in the film. We also know that Batman will visit the Phantom Zone and at one point Robin will end up as an inmate at Arkham. So my question is: WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON? This is all so bizarre but it makes me so excited to see this movie. Anyone have any ideas? Quote
8BrickMario Posted November 24, 2016 Posted November 24, 2016 Simple answer: It's in the same universe as The LEGO Movie. Long answer: Due to the shared universe, there's gonna be some franchise crossover, likely due to Joker's plans. And anything can happen in one of these films. Quote

I'm loving the direction this movie is heading in! Wonder what other franchises we'll see. Quote
npgcole Posted November 25, 2016 Posted November 25, 2016 At first, I wasn't sure how much The LEGO Batman Movie would relate to The LEGO Movie, but with the Master Building and franchise-mixing that I've seen, I'm glad that they're making it clear that this is in the same world as the first film. I didn't think it would happen before, but now I'm starting to see it as somewhat a possibility; Perhaps a character or two from The LEGO Movie will make an appearance? Like, near the end, maybe? Mr Greeble Posted December 3, 2016 Posted December 3, 2016 Anyone else notice the "Batman Forever" sign held by an admirer in the beginning of the 4th trailer? Quote
The EthStu Posted December 3, 2016 Posted December 3, 2016 I have a theory about the Joker's plan. What if he's sick of Batman always putting a stop to his evil plans, so he decides to pull villains from other lands (a.k.a the other displays from the man upstairs) to stop him once and for all. Robert8 Posted December 12, 2016 Posted December 12, 2016 It seems this will be The LEGO Dimensions Movie instead of Batman Quote
npgcole Posted December 12, 2016 Posted December 12, 2016 I'm just hoping it's a coincidence that all the other franchises in this so far originate from Dimensions. Because let's face it, it has given us some of the coolest liscensed franchises. Quote
RAKRONDEWL Posted December 12, 2016 Posted December 12, 2016 Don't know if this has been said but there are Daleks from Doctor Who in this TV spot at 1:22. Quote

That would explain why we only got one minifigure for it in Dimensions. Quote
DuckBricks Posted December 12, 2016 Posted December 12, 2016 (edited) I know there was a rumor floating around about the Doctor showing up in the next Lego Movie - if he does make a cameo appearance, that would be awesome! There's a likely chance now that's Daleks have shown up... Edited December 12, 2016 by legozebra Quote
Ordinareo Posted December 12, 2016 Author Posted December 12, 2016 (edited) Who would of though we would get the likes of the Daleks, Gremlins and Wicked Witch in The LEGO Batman Movie. It now really is The LEGO Dimensions Batman Movie haha. Edited December 12, 2016 by Ordinareo Quote
Collector Posted December 12, 2016 Posted December 12, 2016 Wonder Twins, Gleek, Apache Chief, El Dorado, Samurai, and Black Vulcan, from the classic Super Friends series are at 1:24 in the new trailer. Quote
npgcole Posted December 12, 2016 Posted December 12, 2016 You can see tons of flying monkeys in the background at 1:40 in the trailer. Quote
JACKATTACKS Posted December 13, 2016 Posted December 13, 2016 Okay guys - we have some problems. In Australia, we don't get the movie till March 30. This is insanely unfair, forcing us to wait almost two months for the movie too arrive. Jay over at Jaysbrickblog has some ways to help support this tragic situation. People need to speak out on social media to let Lego and Roadshow films know that this isn't right. http://jaysbrickblog.com/2016/12/12/its-time-to-demand-for-release-date-equality-for-the-lego-batman-movie-in-australia-new-zealand-samebattimeausnz/ Quote
