RebelRock Posted November 22, 2007 Posted November 22, 2007 I've recently acquired a few Vikings sets and was inspired to build in that theme. Some of the architecture is not authentic viking style but hey, just like the goblins, it looks good. :-P I also wanted to use those blue bricks for something before I disassemble all 4000 of them. Thumbnail is gallery when public Quote
ExoBuilder Posted November 22, 2007 Posted November 22, 2007 Wow! Do you just post these to show our envy towards you? This is once again an amazing MOC of yours. *y* *y* Quote

MicVash Posted November 23, 2007 Posted November 23, 2007 Amazing work!!! The snow is a very nice touch! Great detailing on the hall, bring on the mead!!! Those silly gobbos, they got nothing! Lol, and why is that man bathing outside in the cold! Quote
iamded Posted November 23, 2007 Posted November 23, 2007 Fantastic! *wub* *wub* *wub* Absolutely stunning! :'-) ~Peace Quote
Asuka Posted November 23, 2007 Posted November 23, 2007 What a marvelous work! :'-) The facade of your big house is plain beautiful and very smart with these mix of walls and decent windows and logs, and both roofs Quote
LuxorV Posted November 23, 2007 Posted November 23, 2007 Very nice MOC, RebelRock *y* *y* *y* You really know how to plan and realize a big design. I *wub* those details you added here and there, to create a living comunity. Now I'd love even more to see some interior details for the Hall. Keep up the good work, and send those invading Orcs sinking X-D LuxroV Quote
TheFrisian Posted November 23, 2007 Posted November 23, 2007 That is just... WOW!!! :'-) Once again you've managed to produce an incredible MOC Rebelrock! The snow is a very nice touch, and the scene as a whole just looks amazing. As Asuka already mentioned, the facade of the main house is a nice technique that works beautifully in this MOC. The watchtower is also very nicely done, especially with those supporting chains. But the best part for me is the roof of the little shed, I would love to know what techniques you used to create that effect. *wub* Quote
Matn Posted November 23, 2007 Posted November 23, 2007 That's simply amazing and wonderful! Really, good work! You are so good in these things, just like youre Dwarf mine. That was also awesome. I will use this as example to make some little Viking huts. Good job! 8- Quote
Wout Posted November 24, 2007 Posted November 24, 2007 This is a great moc. The scenery, the landscape, the buildings it is terriffic. *y* *wub* The only complaint is about the pictures, You have made many pictures from the same angle. Can you also make a picture from the back? And is there a inside in the house? :-) Quote
ZeekyBoogeyDoog Posted November 24, 2007 Posted November 24, 2007 I love the snow effect! Your hall is so amazing, and so is the thatched roof X-O !! I especially like the timber frame *y*! I like all the little details too, like the bathtub and the cooking fire. Quote
Siegfried Posted November 30, 2007 Posted November 30, 2007 Very stunning model! *wub* I love all the little details. I tried to make a viking hall using the same roof technique, but it wasn't even big enough to be a hut. :-/ I also wanted to use those blue bricks for something before I disassemble all 4000 of them. 4000! 8- Quote
Johnny 5 Posted November 30, 2007 Posted November 30, 2007 I really like this moc. Like? More like love. *wub* *wub* I was looking at your brickshelf and I was really impressed with what I saw there. But I was wondering, how exactly did you achieve the slanted roof on the hall? Quote
